A week had passed since Sidharth pranked Anushka and since then, it was Anushka's turn to fume with rage. That night, she had decided to cause havoc to his room. Wardrobes were bare of its contents, and his clothes were reduced to pieces; his guitar was damaged to the extent where it looked like a truck had run over it; his beloved video games were burned to ashes. Never had he seen her so red. She wanted to get her message very clear that no one messes with her hair. Sidharth knew well to not mess with her till she cooled down and was sane enough again. He had kept his distance from her since then.
It was a Sunday and the Sassy Six had decided to go out for dinner. Vihaan was the one who always insisted on trying out new places to satisfy his taste buds. "The belly rules the mind" is what he always said.
"So, Vihaan where are we headed tonight?" questioned Mahi.
"Patience, my dear Mahi, is the key to success," Vihaan said with a hint of sarcasm, while keeping his head focused on driving.
Looking out of the window, Aahana said, "It never fails to amaze me how splendid the Marine Drive looks at night!"
"It's called the Queen's Necklace for a reason," replied Mahi.
Soon, they reached their destination. And this time, Vihaan had outdone himself. The place was filled with people and the aroma of the best delicacies had started to fill the air and soon, everybody could hear Vihaan's stomach grumbling.
The restaurant was filled with chatter and they were busy enjoying the most tasty dishes of their life.
"What are you doing Vihaan? Did you leave your table manners behind?", scolded Mahi.
"Come on Mahi, you know I hate olives!" Vihaan said. "But you can't just start picking at your food like that," scolded Mahi.
She hated it when someone didn't have table manners, and she always ended up pointing them out. She had those typical traits of being a mom. Looking at Vihaan's dislike for olives, Mahi's mind started conjuring up sinister plots. Soon, she had the best plot to make him eat olives.
"So what's cooking up in this devious head of yours?" questioned Ayaan. "Nothing," Mahi said nonchalantly.
The rest of the night was spent joking around and with a wisp of carelessness.
"So what are you doing Mahi?" asked Anushka. She had come over to Mahi's house to help her with her math. Mahi sucked at math and she would always call up her lifesaver Anushka.
"Nothing Anu, just a healthy prank on Vi, I guess?" she said with the most innocent face. "And what is it?" asked Anushka.
"Oh! It's quite harmless. Remember that night at the restaurant, Vihaan kept on picking at his olives?"
"Yes, so what?", questioned Anushka.
"I'm just going to make him eat them!" Mahi said triumphantly.
"Well, I'm in!"
"What are we waiting for then? Let's get to work!"
Soon, they got busy with making the best chocolates in the world. "Vihaan will never know what happened to him!" Anushka said evilly.
After three hours of sheer hard-work, their masterpiece was ready to be served.
"Now we just have to make sure we get him to eat these chocolates" said Mahi.
"And how are we going to do that?"
"Just give them to him when he's starved for two hours!" Mahi said with satisfaction.
The Sassy Six were sitting in the cafeteria after an intense football match.
"Oh God! I'm starving. Please get me food," whined Vihaan. "How dramatic! You just haven't had anything for over an hour and you already look like you are going to die!" stated Ayaan.
"And the food counter is not going to open up anytime soon," Sidharth replied sadly.
"I have some chocolates in my bag that I made yesterday," replied Mahi. Everyone knew that she made the most mouthwatering chocolates in the entire town.
"Give them to me! I'll do whatever you want me to. But please just give them to me!" Vihaan said.
Before Mahi had even taken out the box of chocolates, it had been snatched out of her hands; and soon, Vihaan was hungrily digging into them. He shoved three huge pieces into his mouth and as he made the first bite his face had contorted into sheer disgust. Everybody had started laughing by now. "Ewwwwww! What in the name of God is this?!" Vihaan said angrily.
"They were olives garnished with the finest quality of dark chocolate," said Mahi proudly. And soon the whole gang was cracking up in laughter. "You, I'm so going to kill you!" Vihaan said furiously. And Mahi made a run out of the cafeteria laughing her head off.
