"Neil..." she called him slowly seeing him dumb
Av.... Av.... Avni... Yeh.... sab... " he stammered
" Tumhe kuch yaad nahi hoga.... Kyunki Vo Neil mujhe Nafrat karraha tha.... Aur Vo tab uska nashe main tha...... "she said chuckling
Flashback (Refer chap 5)
Neil! " she shouted seeing him falling down.
"Avni.... Tum bohat sweet ho.... Main itna karne ke Baad bhi..... Tum na..... Bebe ya mom ko kuch nahi batarahi ho...." he said pulling her cheeks smiling like cute baby. Avni looked at him as this was the first compliment as well as first touch of him on her.
" Tumhe pata hai... Main bura hu... Aur... Aur selfish bhi... "he said while she make him stand and made him to sit on the bed and about to go
" Avni... Av..... Ni....... "he shouted her name.
" Neil... "
" AVNI!!!!! "he was continously shouting while she cover his mouth with her hands and he looked at innocently and they share an eye lock.
" Neil.. Don't shout please... Agar mummy ji ya bebe ko pata chal ki tum drink kiye tho...they will be hurt... "she said while he made a 'O' shape pout.
" Tho.... Tho... Mujhe Kya Avni... Main bhi hurt hu..... "he said while a tear escaped from his eyes.
She cupped his face.
" Shh.. Sab kuch teek hojayaga... Tum sojao... "she said and about to move while he pulled her while she landed on his lap.
" Nahi hoga na Avni... Main itne saal wait kiya... kuch... Nahi hoga... Kyunki meri naseeb itna bura hai.... "he placed his head on her chest hugging her by her waist.
" Pata hai... Ab tum meri baat kitne good girl ki tarah sun rahi ho... Tab na... Tumhari tarah friend bhi nahi tha mujhe.. "he said while she smiled when he address her as a friend.
"Neil... Sach Mein.... You hate me?" she asked in a tint of hope.
He blinked his eyes cutely.
"Kisiko math batana... Promish?" he asked showing his hands.
"Haa.." she kept her hand above his and he locked her hand in his
"Nahi...I like you alot..... Tum na school headmaster ki tarah shant rehthi ho..." he giggled at her while Avni smiled in happiness.
"Par..." he said while she looked at him
"Par...?" she repeated.
"Par... Neil na... kabhi Avni ko accept nahi karega... Iski vajah Avni nahi hai... Mera dad hi hai...." this broke her again. She was lost into her thoughts. But Neil cupped her face making her shock.
"Tum Neil ko Hate karthi ho?" he asked while she went silent and he pouted as he was not getting any reply. She chuckled with pain seeing his cute antics. She is seeing a different version of Neil here.. Cute and innocent one and the one who is filled with pain.
"Nahi....kyunki.. I love..." she stopped looking deep into his eyes
"I love you... Haina" he smiled widely completing her sentence.
"Haa... I love you... I love you Neil..." she said while tears passed down her cheeks.
"I love you tooooo..." he said while Avni closed her eyes letting her tears fall after being know that he was saying everything under the influence of alcohol.
"Yahi kaafi hai ki... Atleast you told me you like me.... Don't worry Neil.... Meri vajase tumhe aur takleef nahi hoga..." she thought and her trance were broken when Neil spoke.
"Kya sochrahi ho?" he asked
"Kuch nahi hai... Tum aao... Sojao..." she said and took him to the corner of the bed and made him to lye. He was holding her hand was not letting her go. And an instant, he pulled her while she was above him. They were so close and Neil slowly make her lye beside him. He cupped her face while Avni looked at his eyes. They two lost into the moment of each other.
Flashback ends.
"Av..... Avni.... Tum.... Tum...mujhe... Paas kyu.... Aane... Diya...." he asked being angry on himself
" Kyunki main tumse pyaar karrahi thi Neil... "she said while he went silent. He was undergoing mixed emotions, anger, guilt, hurt and what not.
She looked at his face which was flooded with guilt.
" I am sorry Avni... "his words escaped from his mouth along with tears. He was not looking at her
"I am sorry Neil... Main tumhe batana chathithi... Par.... ...." she said while he nodded in negative and took her in his arms.
"Nahi Avni.... I have made you to face this alone..... I am sorry...." he said while she blubber under him.
They were pouring tears. And they didn't console themselves as they wanna cry to feel less pain.
After some minutes.
"Neil...." she said and she looked at his eyes. While he looked at him
"Karoge na... Mithali se sha..." she was interrupted
"Nahi Avni... Tum sochna bhi math....." he said hugging her more.
"Neil..."
"Bass Avni.... Bohat boldiya tumne.... Ab tum sirf meri sunogi..." he said and cupped her face
"Main kisise shaadhi nahi karunga... Aur doosri baat shaadhi zaroor hoga... Par vo humari shaadhi hogi... This time, with full of love and blessing.... Aur teesri baat.... Tum mujhe chodje kahi nahi joage.....aur main tumhe Jaane Bhi nahi dunga...." he said while she felt blessed.
" Understand? " he asked while she looked down keeping her hand on the tummy gently stroking it.
" dekho... Mera ek already baby hai... Vo na... Bohat ziddhi bhi hai... Kabhi mera baat nahi sunti hai... Uss baby ko sambhal na... Mushkil kaam hai meri.... "he said while she chuckled and hugged him tight
He took her in bridal style and placed it on the bed and took her in his arms and they both slept after outpouring all the emotions.
