After a week Neil discharged to home. Shwetha helped him to reach his room while Avni came behind them. What made shwetha shock is the entire room was completely changed according to Neil's like. There is so single photo of them which was hanging on the walls before. She completely hided his wedding thing in his memory. Neil looked at shwetha who has surprised expression on her face.
"Maa.. Aise kya dekrahi ho.." he asked
"Kuch nahi Neil... Bass Aise hi.." she said looking at Avni who is looking down.
She stepped in and kept the tablets on the table.
"Aunty..." Avni called shwetha while a lone tear escaped from Shwetha's eyes seeing her doing everything only for Neil. By seeing her tears Avni felt really sad but she controlled.
"Avni.. Kitni baar bola Mujhe Aunty math bhulo..." she said
"tum meri beti hi ho Avni... Par ab tak tum Mujhe Maa nahi maani na.." she said as she really can't able to take it anymore
"Sorry mummy ji..." she said and smiled
Neil looked at the bond wondering how come she became this much close to his family without his knowledge.
"Mummy ji... Ab Neil sir ko...." her words was cut off by shwetha
"Neil sir?... Comeon Avni... Maanthi hu Neil ke saath tum kaam karrahi ho... Par Ab tho Vo ghar main hai na.... You can call him Neil... Haina tillu... Vo tho itna old tho nahi na..." shwetha was trying as much as possible to help Avni while Neil widened his eyes seeing his mother calling him tillu in front of a girl.
While Avni suppress her laughter after hearing the name and by seeing his reaction.
" Maa.. Ab tillu bolna zaroori tha..." he whisper which was well audible to Avni
"Achaa teek hai baba... Tum bolo Avni tum kya bolrahai thi.."
"Haa mummy ji... Neil ko dressing aap karlijiyega.." she said handing over the necessary things.
"Dressing vessing Mujhe karna Bilkul nahi aatha... Tum ek kaam kar tum hi kardo..." she said winking at her while Avni was shocked and then looked at Neil who having same expression on his face
"Maa... Are you serious..." he asked
"Yeah yeah..." she said and went towards Avni and make her sit on the bed opposite to Neil and asked her to do the dressing. She left closing the door.
Avni was hesitating a bit to start.
"I am... I am sorry Avni... Maa Aise hi hai... I know you are uncomfortable...koi baat nahi main hi kardeta hu" he said while she felt little bit sad. She gave the things to him.
While he opened the knot of the cloth and removed the band-aid. He dipped the cotton into the solution and just trying to keep on his wound while he can't able to do alone. While Avni saw his struggle and touched his hands stopping him. Neil looked at her suddenly while she looked at him.
She took the cotton from his hand and pressed the cotton on his wound
"Iss..." he hissed in pain while she blowed air on it while he closed his eyes. Avni was staring at him while he opened her eyes and she pretend to do dressing.
She finished everything and disposed it. She helped him to lye on the bed and about to go out.
" Avni... When we will have audition..." he asked as she can able to see the excitement in his eyes and his voice
"Vo... Vo.. Neil... I will conform today... But beforehand... Your health is important... After that only I will plan your schedule..." she said while he smiled at her which was the smile she was craving from her husband before.
She came out closing the door to let him sleep.
