After found abandoned and cowering next to a homely bakery, five-year-old Arinia was taken in, loved, and cared for by the four very large, and very intimidating, Acker brothers. The eldest of whom, quickly became her everything. Her light, her monster chaser, and to her- all that was good in the world. Until the day he left, and her world quickly came crashing down. Four angry, and empty years later, Gillinacus Acker was back- and stirring up the deep hatred his absence had caused.
With a council breathing down the eldest brother's back, a deep-set fiery urge to take the human that was always meant to be his, and the knowledge that her life as a mortal wasn't going to last much longer- Gillinacus Acker was quickly starting to regret following the rules of the covens'. He would have to start making some pretty tough decisions regarding his and his little pet's lives. Decisions that would either make his Arinia love him once again, or feed the deep burning hatred inside her.
