Chapter 2

With the Boys

The boys walked away from the counter, to a booth in the corner of the cafe; large enough to fit all seven of them. Namjoon sat the bag of sandwiches in the middle of the table and the donut hole box to the left of the bag. Everyone sat down and grabbed a sandwich and happily ate their food and drank their coffees while casually talking and munching on the occasional donut hole here and there.

After a couple of minutes, the boys heard the girl's voice again. Greeting a new customer happily. Jimin let out a soft squeal. "She is so adorable!" Jimin said in a tiny and happy voice, from his spot in between Jungkook and Hoseok.

"Yeah, she definitely is," Yoongi spoke softly from the other side of Hoseok, "It's slightly weird though, she's obviously a fan but she also seemed like she didn't care. Or something else was on her mind."

"Yeah Hyung, I agree. She different, but it's a good different." Tae spoke up from his spot to the right of Jungkook.

"Namjoon-Hyung, what do you think of her?" Jungkook asked, looking towards Namjoon.

"Namjoon-Ah, Jungkookie is talking to you," Yoongi said while reaching over jin to wave his hand in front of Joon's face.

Jin reached down and grabbed Namjoon's hand and brought it towards his lips to plant a short and sweet kiss to it. "Joonie. Are you ok?" Jin asked concerned. Namjoon shook his head as if to clear his head, before nodding and smiling at his boys.

"Yeah, I'm ok. I just can't seem to get that girl outta my head. Yeah, she's clearly a fan. But to me, she didn't seem like she didn't care about it being us. But she seemed worried about something, maybe it's family-related. But she definitely is nice, It's been a while since we met a fan like her." Namjoon said while looking at the other boys.

Taehyung opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by the door opening and a voice ranged threw the smallish cafe. "Katelyn!" A woman yelled. The boys all looked towards the door to see that it was a young girl with a young baby in her arms with two toddlers in front of her with monkey backpacks with a monkey tail leash.

"Hey, Katelyn! I'm sorry I can't watch them anymore. My boss called me, I have to go to work. And you already know where Annabelle is." The black-haired girl said while walking over to the short blond girl.

" It's alright, my boss won't mind them staying here till the next shift comes in. Thanks for watching them while you could Jessica." Katelyn said grabbing the baby out of Jessica's arms and grabbing the 'leashes' that coral the two girls.

"Ok Bye Katelyn, I have to go," Jessica said giving Katelyn a hug and planting a kiss on the baby's forehead, she then preceded to kneel down and hug the two girls giving them both a hug and kiss on the forehead.

"Bye Auntie Jess," the two little girls said squeezing Jessica in a tight hug. "Bye Naveah. Bye Emily." Jessica said as she left the building.

"Mommy!" The small blond child shouted as she hugged Katelyn's legs. Wait, Mom? She is a mother? But she looks so young.

"Hey, Katelyn!" I heard a shout from my right. Jin. Katelyn looked over to us and slowly made her way over to us.

"What can I do for you guys?" She asked politely, as she gently shifted the baby in her other arm.

"I know you know who we are and I wanted to ask when you got off of work? Because trying to do two things at once is hard for anybody." Jin told her.

"Well, I get off in about two hours. And this isn't the first time, I've had to watch my kids while working." She said. Her voice showed no emotions. Like she is used to this.
