It was 1921 and your friend had plans on building you a house by the forest you often took walks on. You simply refused as you knew you could just stay near the city, but they refused and built it anyways.

It was a cozy home, big enough to support you and that's all that mattered to you. You wernt much of a people fan, so this brought you a lot of relief despite your bickering to stay in the city. It was always so crowded and busy. Not to mention loud, how could anyone work there!

You thanked your friend endlessly as they drove off back to their home. You walked inside and began unpacking. Sure you didn't have all that but boy did you have the art studio.

You worked as a Freelance artist for businesses and made sure to finish the last commission before moving. You planned on getting a pet soon, possibly a cat? You were never quite fond of dogs.
Sorry dog people ^^"
They usually scared you with their loud barks and woofs.

"What kind of cat would I get though." You mumbled to yourself putting your coat on and slipping your shoes on. You walked out the door and locked it, preventing any burglary. It wasn't too far into town so you decided to walk.

Soon you arrived into town but something seemed.. Off. You heard a soft mewling sound and you looking around for the source. Inside an ally you found a small calico kitten whining and wincing from the cold.
"Such a petite creature!" You whispered picking up the kitten, holding it in your arms. You cradled it attempting to warm it up, as you scurried back to your home. As you arrived you fumbled for your key as you entered. Placing the small feline on your bed you went into your pantry for any food it could eat.

You settled for a small chunk of meat and got a bowl of milk, "cats drink this right?" You muttered as you set it down for the kitten to eat. The kitten made its way to the food and began to lap at the milk taking small occasional bites from the meat. "What to name you.." You thought aloud , the kitten turned its head towards you in confusion.

"Possibly.." You looked around for inspiration, "Chip?" You asked hopefully to the feline. It just stared at you then made a small meow, flicked its tail and resumed eating. " I'll take that as a yes" you sighed walking over and stroking its head gently.
