You say there waiting. People came in and left, Alastor was still standing in the line. You we're getting worried when a drink was placed in front of you. You looked up to see Alastor. It was (Favorite Tea)..

" Huh? How did you... " You trailed off staring at the tea, He chuckled.

"Your friend made it, I simply ordered a tea for the lovely lady." Something was different about him, His aura changed.. But you paid it no mind. In the corner of your eye you spotted Evelyn.

She sped walked over to your table and yanked you out of your seat.

" Excuse us for a moment. " She said sweetly to him. He just nodded and Evelyn was off, dragging you with her. She took you to the back kitchen. She grabbed your hands and started to bounce.

"Wh-"
" I can't believe it! The newest radio host is in My bakery! With.. " She paused for a brief moment, "My Best Friend..!" She said the last part through gritted teeth. I'm confused. It almost seemed like she hated you for it. But before you could question it she went right back to rambling.

"I can't believe it! Can you believe it? I listen to the channel when I'm cooking at home!" She rambled for what seemed like hours.

" S-so How's Thomas? " you asked trying to change the subject and stop her constant pestering. She seemed to light up at the mention of him.

"He's doing great! He actually told me to.. tell you to go over to his shop the next time I saw you!" She kept glancing around not making eye contact.

"I'd love to but.." You gazed over to where Alastor was sitting, lost in thought holding both of the drinks he ordered, " I can't leave him alone, That's disrespectful! " you tried to reason.

"Oh Right. I'm so sorry for blowing up at you (Nick name). I'll leave you both alone till y'all are done!" She gave a small genuine smile and gave you a hug. You hugged back letting out a soft giggle. She does freak out when people who she admires and really like come to her bakery. You shook your head lightly and went back to your seat. I

"Whats so funny!" She said huffing and pouting playfully.

" nothing nothing Eve. " You said swallowing a laugh down. You headed back to your seat by Alastor.

" I'm back! Sorry for leaving you for a moment. " You put your head down in embarrassment.

"It's alright dear! Here," He slid your drink back to you, " Just was making sure nobody took it. "

You laughed a bit after the joke Alastor told. ( dad jokes anyone?) I should get going to Thomas'. You cleared your throat.

"It's been a swell time, but I must be going to a friend of mine's shop soon." You said with a small sad smile. Feeling your heart rate increase slightly you sighed.

" Oh, Would you like me to take you there darling? " he offered tilting his head.

"Oh, no no that won't be necessary. You've been so nice already" you try to explain fumbling with the hem of your dress looking down.

I was getting a tad frustrated, keeping this smile up is hard at times. They are not making it easy for me to get closer to them. Why do I even bother, just wait until tonight and kill them. But I can't, not yet.
