After graduation I had applied to many colleges which took up most of my time. I didn't go on adventures anymore and didn't hang out with LeeLee much. I had too many things going on and had to get ready for college.
In early August my acceptance letter from my state college arrived and so I had to start getting my things packed. The first term started that fall. I packed up all the things I was gonna need and had set out all the photos of the adventure we went on to take. By the time fall came around we loaded the car to take my things off to the college dorm I was gonna stay in. The pictures never made it into a box of my things.
The college was a lot different then I had believed. It wasn't as big as I had imagined. There were parties every night at sorority and frat house's. I didn't see them as a good idea until I saw Kylo walking around campus and she invited me. How could I say no to someone like that.
The parties were great although the music was loud and people were all over each other and the bathroom was filled with college freshman who had never drank throwing up. There was no stress. No worries about exams or papers that were due the next day. Everyone seemed relaxed. I always did all my work before I went. No way was I letting my grades slip that easy. After all I had a reputation to keep.
Kylo and I started to go on dates. At first we didn't call them that but once she kissed me it turned into big dates. Like walking on the beach at night or going to fancy restaurants. We started holding hands when we went to classes or was walking each other back to our dorms. I really liked her... maybe I could even say loved her. She seemed like a perfect pixie with wings of glass that shimmered in the moonlight and her hair made of strings of gold. However she was just a normal girl. How is that possible? Who knows but she's living proof.
Time started to fly by and my freshman year of college was coming to an end. It was soon to be time for me to go home until my next years term came around. Even though I wouldn't see Kylo for a little while I was excited to come back and see my childhood friend.
