Her pov
"My King..." A woman called out somberly. Today was the day that she had dreaded for years. The man that she'd been promised too by her own kingdom in hopes to stop a war. To be a representative of what her people stood for. To show that this war only started because the neighboring kingdom where scared and misinformed. Her task clear from the very beginning. She would spend five years to try to get through to them and if it failed than she is to come home. It was simple enough, the only problem is that she ended up calling for the King of this land and the people. Now more than ever she wanted to show them how the war was pointless but with years of trying it all came to a very bittersweet end.
If things gone as planned then she'd be happily preparing for a wedding. But the plan fell through and now she must walk away from who could very well be the love of her life. His pov
The King walking through the halls in, search for his lovely bride-to-be. He hears her voice just around the corner. Once there he watched her from down the hall. She stood tall, determined, very formal. He loved when she'd do this. She seemed so different from her usual care free casual self. The stark contrast for formal her and laid back her was stunning but no matter what she always kept this spark in her eye that glows a draws him in closer.
He never knew he could fall so hard for anyone. Especially someone from another kingdom. they are in a current cease fire as an attempt to better understand the other.
He was proud of the wonderful work he was doing with her. When she first arrived she was firey and wild. Her personality would switch so much it was hard to keep up. But so fascinating all at once. She was sent here to explain her way of life. But it was so backwards and crazy to him that he couldn't see why he should listen to nonsense about magic and energies when he had the ever knowledgeable Bible on his side. So he decided that instead of listening to her he'd convert to the ways of his church or at the very least stop her from continuing in her preisthood as a High Witch back home.
He'd fallin for her and was in far too deep to ever willingly let go.
He made his way down the hall to get a better look at his new bride."My beautiful Queen..."

She turned to face him. He seemed so happy. So content. It only made things harder as she pushed away from his loving embrace. The hurt on his face was evident but she knew that if he were to get one hug. One kiss.
She'd never have the strength to go."We must talk about the issue at hand." She spoke with a firm tone. A tone she knew would up for only do long.
"Well what is it my love? I'll do all I can to fix it." He spoke genuinely. She held back a snarky 'all but listen to a damn word I say'.
"We both remember why I was sent here correct?"He smiled a brightly. "Well of course my Dear. You're here to share your traditions so that our kingdoms may finally know peace."
She gave a half hearted smile.
" Yes exactly. And today is the day I must have your answer in order to go home and tell the news."This is when he realized she was still talking about the hellish witchcraft. He gave her an annoyed and hostile glare. "I gave you my answer years ago and I even ordered you to never speak of or practice ever again! I'm quite disappointed you'd bring up such devil worship so close to our wedding."
With this reaction she sighed a deep sigh. A sad and exhausted sigh.
"Though it pains me to say this my King I must inform I can't go on with the wedding nor can I stay in your home any longer..."

Hearing those words made his whole world turn upside down. How can she say that? She's leaving? After all the time they shared. All the sweet moments in bed, talking about a future with children.
"If this is a game it's certainly not funny." He let out disapproval heavy in his voice. He can see that under his gaze she refused to look him in the eye. After noticing this he tried to calm down. He spent five beautiful and wild years learning her. He knew just about everything. He loved and cared for everything he knew about.
