Mitsuba's POV:
*RIIIINNNGG*
The bell rung indicating that class was over. Finally, I was so ready to go home. I gathered my things, and set them in my bag. I looked up and saw that half of the class was gone already. I picked up my bag and made my way out the door.

I was near the exit of the school, feeling annoyed of all the other kids rushing past me, some bumping into me. 'The nerve they have to bump into a cutie like me' I pouted and made my way to the exit.
"HEYYY! WAIT! MITSUBAAA!"
I paused. 'Who could be calling me?'
I turned around to see Kou running towards me with a big, stupid grin plastered on his face.
'Ah right.. I'm friends with an idiot'

I sighed and let him catch up to me.
"Hey Mitsuba! Wanna-"
"What do you want, earring boy? Your dumb grin almost looks as lame as your earring"

He just heavily sighed in annoyance, but ignored it.
"Anyway as I was saying.. you busy after school?" Kou asked.

"Why do you ask that, huh pervert?! Trying to hook up with an adorable cutie like me?!"

Kou groaned, "No, I just wanted to hang out.. because... ya know, we're friends..?" he said scratching the back of his head.
He looked so dumb.

"Pfft.. Alright whatever, but don't you dare try anything! I have my eyes on you, perv!"

"Mitsuba one of your eyes are cove-"

"I'm gonna message my mom and let her know I'm staying the night at your house" I said.

"Ah.. okay- wAIT WHO SAID YOU COULD SPEND THE NIGHT?"

"She said 'yes', now let's go before I change my mind, loser.." I said, grabbing his hand and looking up at him smiling.

He slightly looked away from me
"Y-yeah..."

Kou led the way and I trailed behind him, taking pictures of the sky, and some birds and squirrels.

I kept stopping for the pictures, and Kou walked up to me and reached out his hand.
"You walk too slow, come on"

I just stared up at him for a few moments confused, until I realized.
H-He.. He wanted me... to hold his-
"I KNEW IT! YOU WERE GONNA TRY SOMETHING DIRTY WITH ME! I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE WANTING TO COME HOME WITH YOU! A HELLA LAME PERVERTED TRAFFIC SAFTEY EARRING LOSER! YOUR MIND'S PROBABLY FILLED WITH NOTHING BUT DIRTY THOUGHTS OF ME, HUH?! FIRST HOLDING MY HAND, THEN HAVING ME IN SOME GROSS POSITION AS YOU VIDEO ME WITH YOUR PHONE! DIGUSTING! PERV! MOLESTER!"

"W-WAIT! WHAT? NO! WH-WHAT THE HECK, MITSUBA?! I WAS JUST GONNA HOLD YOUR- o-oh.."
Kou took his hand back and look away from me. He looked tense and awkward silence filled the air (besides me catching my breath from all of my yelling)
"U-uh.. sorry" Kou apologized.
He continued walking and I watched him from behind, feeling kind of bad.
It's not like I didn't wanna hold his hand, anywa-
I smacked my hands on my cheeks. They felt warm. Really warm. Too warm.
'SNAP OUT OF IT, MITSUBA! IT'S NOT LIKE THAT IT'S NOT LIKE THAT IT'S NOT LIKE THAT! AND YOU KNOW IT!'
I opened my eyes and looked back at Kou who stopped.
"Mitsuba, you coming?"
Kou was standing in front of the sunset. His gorgeous ocean, blue eyes looked down at me.
'ughh it really is like that isn't it?'
I stood up and walked up to Kou. I grabbed his hand and looked down. I could feel my face burning.
"y-you can... uh.. you c-can actually... h-hold my hand.... if you want.."
'GOD WHAT AM I DOING? I STUTTERED SO MUCH! HE'S GONNA THINK I'M WEIRD I DON'T WANNA BE HERE I-'
I felt something press against my forehead.
Kou.. kissed my forehead.
My face got so much redder, if that was even possible, and Kou just chuckled.
"W-WHAT? WHAT'D YOU DO? WHAT'S SO FUNNY-"
"I love you, Mitsuba"
"I-I.."

I took a deep breath, hesitated, and pecked him on the lips.
"y-yeah.. i love you too, idiot"
I noticed Kou's face was completely red.
"SEE! NOW YOU SUFFER WITH ME!" I giggled.
"Nah! I bet I could make you suffer worse" Kou said smirking.
"How suggestive. Perv."
"N-NOT LIKE THAT, YOU IDIOT"
"Well like wha-"

That was a big mistake.

Kou kissed me. I couldn't process what was going on at all, and I wanted to scream, but I kissed back.
After we pulled apart, I hid my face in his chest.
"I toooold~ ya-"
I punched him in the arm
"OW!"

yes another mitsukou fanfic made at 3 am to feed the stans. i originally intended to have them meet at kou's house and then do stuff like cuddle or smth buuuut oh well. that'll be for another chapter. i also came up with all of this as i went, so sorry if it's ooc or makes no sense. i might edit it later. alright gnnn.
