Ashraf's POV
I woke up to Hannah's hard slaps which was very painful. "Wake up lazy ass! We are running late.""Huh?" I was in a state of bewilderment.
"Mtchewww. Wake up!" She tugged at my poor duvet roughly not giving me a moment to compose myself."What do you want?" I asked groaning in annoyance.
"We are going to the gym and we are already seven minutes late. Not to mention you haven't prayed.""I'm on my period" I said already feeling irritated.
That's what you get for having Hannah as a roommate. She won't wake you up on time as a good friend. Just to torture you, she will wake you up with slaps when the time is tight and will start saying "I'm even nice enough to wake you up" and when you beg her to wake you up, she starts yelling at you saying she isn't your servant.
"Oh I forgot to set my alarm again" Realization dawned on me.
"Whatever. When you are done, meet me outside"I quickly recited my duas, brushed my teeth, wore my gym clothes, tied my hair in a tight bun and wrapped a veil on my head. I grabbed all the necessary stuff I would need ran out.
"I am so sorry for delaying you" I said to Hannah immediately I entered the car. I really felt bad making her late. I bet she has never been late.
"We were supposed to go to the gym by jogging for warming up because it's not far. Just a ten minutes walk. Seeing we are late, I will just drive us there."
"Okay. Are you sure you don't want me to drive?" I turned towards her throwing her one of my best smiles."Your smile is dazzling and beautiful, anyone will kill to have your smile including me but I am not falling for it Ashraf"
"You said it yourself that I shouldn't allow you to drive again"
"Yeah that was because I was really exhausted LAST NIGHT"
"There was no need to emphasize on the "last night" I know it's in the past. You are always full of excuses"
She stuck her tongue out and turned her face.
I laughed at her childishness and decided to listen to some songs. I was totally engrossed into the lyrics when a loud shriek pulled me out of my lala land."OMG! Ahhh! Are you kidding me!?"
"Why did you scream? What happened? Are you okay?" I frantically turned to look at her trying to ignore my racing heart.
"I love your beats by Dre and it's red, our favorite color" she said looking at me sheepishly.
"Seriously? Was that why you screamed like that? You are such a drama Queen. You scared me to death" I breathed out not without rolling my eyes in the process.
"Yeah yeah. You still love me""Don't worry I will get you a new one"
"Really! Thank you sooooo much!!!! You are such a darling" She cooed squeezing the life out of me.
"Can I breathe now?"
"Of course!"We arrived and exchanged pleasantries with the gym instructor. Apparently, Hannah had told him all about me. He seemed nice and okay but I was uncomfortable with the way he kept on looking at me. Shrugging it off, I dragged Hannah with me to do what actually took us there.
"Its been an hour-ten minutes and I don't like the fact that I'm sweating" I uttered scrunching up my nose in disgust.
"Neither do I but then what's the point of burning fats and keeping fit?"
