Chapter 22: Vacation

Third Person's POV

~February 22, 2020 6:00 PM~

"Stay safe! Make sure to text us when you arrive!" You say as they took their luggage, ready to leave.

"Don't worry about us and just enjoy your time here. You needed a vacation anyways." Joy says as the others lift their eyebrows at Chanyeol without you noticing.

You smiled at her and hugged her first. "Stay safe without me for a while." You said with a chuckle, going to the next person to make sure everyone gets a hug.

You and Chanyeol decided to stay in Tokyo for 5 days more as a vacation. You two wanted to explore the city more and more as you two found it beautiful. The others, who you thought would tag in, decided to leave earlier and you can't quite understand why.

After a good goodbye, the majority of the team slowly disappeared from your sight with smiley faces and waving hands. Chanyeol slings an arm around you as he watched with you.

"Let's go?" He asked as you nodded.

He suddenly intertwined his hands onto yours as he walked making your ears red. Usually, he would only to this type of sweet skin ships during rough times and pranks. It was quite unusual for you yet you can't deny that you don't like it.

You two sat inside the rented car, plugging in your seatbelts. "What food do you want to eat? I'll find a restaurant before we go to the hotel." You said as you take out your phone.

"Nope." Chanyeol says, starting the car. "We're going somewhere else. So be a good girl again and wear that blindfold on the backseat."

The words he said made you groan. You hated it when he does this kind of things. Though most of the times the outcome is good, there were still times that it was way further than you expected. He threw you into a pool at a random resort one time and you hated that.

"If this has a bad outcome then I'll fly back to Korea." You say as you took the long smooth fabric before tying it around your eyes.

This guy was just full of adventure. He would literally take you at sudden theme parks and mountain climbing without saying so. He loves activities too much and you weren't bothered by that.

"Don't worry, the destination is quite near." Chanyeol says as you felt the car's movement.

"Aren't you curious on why the members didn't tag along? Knowing them, they would probably tag along." You said as you played with your hands as you have nothing else to do.

"Just let them be. Maybe they have things to do in Korea or maybe they prefer staying home. Don't think about it too much." You heard him say as you just nodded.

Whenever you are blindfolded, it's either you talk to not get board or you sleep. Now that he says that the destination isn't that far, if you sleep it would be too short and would probably wake up in a bad mood. First option it is.

"Give me a topic to talk about, Oppa." You said, getting bored of being able not to see anything.

"Let's talk about the members then." Chanyeol says. "Rank the girls in our team in terms of their beauty."

"That's hard." You said as you thought of the members faces in your head. All of them were truly beautiful. Beyond the standards. "Then I'll place Joy Unnie as first and then place the rest as second." You said with a sheepish smile as you thought that it was too hard to answer.

"I'll place you first." Chanyeol says inaudibly, making sure you won't hear it. "Then rank us boys by the looks. This time individually." He says making you smile at a sudden evil thought.

"That's easy. Sehun will be first no matter." You said making him frown at the hope that you'll be picking him.

"Be honest." He says as he is confident that you would pick him.

"I am. First place is Oh Sehun. Second place is Kim Junmyeon. Third place is Byun Baekhyun. Fourth place is Kim Jongin. Fifth place is Zhang-"

"Where am I on the list?"

"Just wait for your turn." You said with a laugh that ended quickly as you hear the car stop.

"I know I'm handsome myself and I also know that you think the same." Chanyeol says with a smile as he take the car keys. "I'll go by your door. Wait for me."

You unbuckled your seat belt as you waited for a presence or a sound. Then you felt the car door being opened and his hands that supported you. His hand held you as you got out of the car, his other hand making sure that your head won't get it.

You had successfully exit the car as you feel your boots hit the ground and the fresh air that touched your skin. Chanyeol closes the door, keeping his hand in your touch so that you wouldn't panic. He locked the car as he takes both of your hands.

"I'll guide you, hmm?" He says as he moves backwards in front of you so that he could guide you.

After a few minutes of walking you finally came into a stop. The cool air grazed your skin as you were wearing a random shirt with just high waist jeans. It was fresh to feel the air.

"Count to 5 and then remove it." Chanyeol says and then you started counting immediately, holding the blindfold for easy access.

"1"

"2"

"3"

"4"

"5"

By the count, you removed the blindfold only to see a beautiful surrounding. It was a large path that was surrounded by cheery blossom trees that were lit up by pink lights. The path was straight and the night sky can be seen. The lights highlighted all of the beautiful petals of the trees as the night sky shined brightly with its sparks of glitters.

You looked around in front of you in amazement. It was one of the most beautiful places you've ever seen. You had a smile on your face as you looked around the area yet you noticed something weird. Chanyeol was not in front of you.

"Chanyeol?" You asked as you looked more at your front before turning around.

There you saw one of the most precious thing you've ever seen.

It was Park Chanyeol kneeling on one knee with a ring on his hands.
