Third Person's POV
~February 24, 2020~
"Tell me." Taehyung demands as he stares at his father sternly.
"I just don't want you to be with her. Isn't that simple enough?" His father asks back with venom sinking with his words.
"No. You don't do something rashly. You always had a reason for everything. So tell me, why do you want me and Y/n to separate?" Taehyung asks, trying to stay calm. He was desperate to get the answer yet his father was not cooperating.
His father snickers at his words, staring into his son's eyes. "Do you really want to know?" He asks the boy as Taehyung nods sternly.
"You're mom left us when you were born, saying that she can't take the responsibility as your mother." His dad says as he closed his eyes shut, trying to not let his emotions take over.
"She says that the only reason she continued to carry you was because of me. I loved you so much even when you were at her womb. I thought she felt the same yet I was wrong." He snickers as Taehyung listened to his father's words with furrowed eyebrows.
"You loved me? The moment I learned how to think all you thought me was to fight. You never fed me if I did something wrong and never believed me. Now you're talking about love?" Taehyung asks as anger rise in him.
He felt wrong his whole life. He would watch his father train him to be strong while he watched other kids being carried happily by their dads. He envied them.
All his life he watched his father's movements. He saw only two things within his father. One, his father only wants power. Two, he only wants Taehyung to be strong and selfish, nothing more nothing less.
"Your mom left me because she thought I was weak. She left me and you because she thought that I won't be able to support her life properly. That's when I realize that the only person who you should love is you."
"I wanted my son to be strong. I wanted him to grow up with everything the others have. I even took this job for him. Though I didn't expect that he'll follow me." Taehyung's dad said with a low chuckle.
"Learning how to be strong takes time, son. The earlier you learn it, the better you will apply it. I thought that it was the best thing I could teach you as a father. You can learn love, friendship, care, and many other things from others." He said as he faced his son who was stunned at the sudden calmness.
"I never wanted to stop you from doing something you want. I wanted to bring down your group since I thought it wasn't a good influence yet that was it. I wanted you to be strong when choosing your friends, be strong when fighting others, and be strong when you're alone. I could let you do anything, son." He says as he stands up, ruffling the head of his son as tears slowly fall from his eyes.
He loves Taehyung so much to the point that he sacrificed everything. The moment Taehyung's mom left him all he wished was for his son to have a great future. He took on illegal business just to give him a better life. He always thought that Taehyung is his biggest blessing.
"She's the perfect girl. I know. You love her so much and she is like everyone's wish. But please, son. Anyone but her." He says as a small tear fall down from his eyes.
"W-why? She's my biggest wish! She's the one who I want to be with-"
"I ruined her life!" Taehyung's dad suddenly bursts, making Taehyung stop.
"I became the reason of her sorrow and tears and I can't help but feel guilty for what I did!" He shouts as Taehyung stare at him in confusion.
"What did you do?" Taehyung asks as he breathes in nervousness.
His dad sighs, staring at his son's eyes with a sad smile. "I killed her parents."
The words made Taehyung stop. His heart falls and he teared up. He remembered how you looked when you were talking about your parents. He remembered the moment you cried and released anger.
"That explains everything." Taehyung said as tears started to fall from his eyes.
"You hated the fact that mom left us yet you took the parents of a kid younger than me." Taehyung said with a sarcastic laugh as his father looked down in guilt.
"You know I was meeting her before her parents died. You knew she was the only one who gives me happiness that time. You knew who she was! I even introduced her to you and you liked her!" Taehyung shouts at his father in anger.
Taehyung can't help but to feel as if his father's fault was now part of his. If you knew about this you wouldn't even approach him. It was his father that eliminated your happiness. It was as if taking everything from you.
"She was 6 that time! A fucking 6 years old left alone in the world filled with crime. The only thing left with her was their wealth." Taehyung says as he smirks at his father. "Oh! That may be the reason why you decided to kill them!" Taehyung said with a sarcastic smirk as his father kept silent.
"If you were in her shoes. Suddenly waking up to a bloody scene. Suddenly going into the tomorrow where no one will guide you and teach you things kids should learn. How would you feel?" Taehyung questioned as he cried.
He thought losing a mother and having a cold father was the worst. Now, he cannot imagine a world without anyone for him.
"You didn't even gave her a chance to say goodbye. You didn't even gave her a chance to say I love you to them. You didn't gave them the chance to see her grew up pretty and kind." Taehyung says as he imagined your life without the two most important people.
"She was 6. She didn't know anything in the world. Maybe she didn't even have the chance to know her parent's favorite food and their love story. She had many things to do with them." Taehyung continued as he stared at his father in disgust.
"You can't reason out that you basically had no choice. You had one. You just chose to give your son a better life in exchange of killing her parents." He says as he stand up, attempting to leave the room.
"Taking a child's parents is as if you are taking the whole life of that innocent child who doesn't know anything about the world."
