"Susan! Get your ass down here now!" My brother called from downstairs somewhere. I ignored his call and continued to do my homework. "I said get your fat ass down here!" I looked onwards my door and made my way towards. "What do you want, Joey?" I heard glass breaking and a loud FUCK echoed to my room. "Susan! Clean this shit up! I'm going to bed!" He yelled and thumping sounds retreated to the stairs. "And if I wake up and you didn't clean that shit up, I'll make sure to beat your ass real good, understand dumbass?" He was at the top of the stairs looking down the hallway at me. I nodded and shuffled out to the stairs. Before I set my foot on the second step, I felt a burning sting on he back of my head. "That's just a taste of will happen if you don't finish!" He yelled, before shoving me and making me fall down the wooden stairs. I lay at the bottom of the staircase with tears in my eyes and me clutching my head as I let a tear slip. This was around my thirtieth trip down the stairs like this. "Watch your step, bitch" I took a few seconds for me to regain enough strength to sit up and eventually stand. My rib made a popping sound as I took a step, making hunch over in pain. I thought to myself bitterly, "Dislocated."
