The circus comes once a year, unless you're part of it. Destiny Belikov is a girl like no other, she's a circus performer but not a clown, or a magician, or anything too odd to describe, she was simply dressed in a sparkling tutu while balancing on a horse doing exciting tricks for the audience. She enjoyed the attention she got from the crowd, the laughter that filled the room as soon as she entered with the dozen Jack Russel's trailing behind with pink bow ties around their neck and the loud applause that rewarded her after every performance. Her parents started the Belikov Circus around sixteen years ago, around the same time that they found her in the woods and adopted her as their own, making her a part of not only their family but their career. Most people frown upon of how they live, they think it would be better if she attended school like other normal girls to study and find a better future career but she doesn't mind growing up in a different town and travelling by train or training with horses instead of humans.

She wasn't just raised by Karolina and Niklaus Belikov, all the performers of the circus pitched in to help them with their new bundle of joy, they are all proud of how Destiny turned out to be because she is a kind, charming and determined young girl who believes in helpings others before herself. Through her years of travelling from one destination to another, she had been teased by kids who came to the show, ambushed by animal rights protesters and judged by people who thought she was stupid for doing such dangerous acts on a horse's back but she used all their negative energy to inspire herself to become better and do what makes her happy regardless of what their opinion is.

This year they were going to Britain for the first time, she loved meeting interesting people, going to exciting places and learning new things. A result of her fascination of the world around her, would be that she could speak twenty different languages, cook nine traditional meals from each country she's been to and play four musical instruments while singing each national anthem. Destiny's not the stereotypical portrayal of a circus child, she isn't smarter than most children who attend private school, she doesn't grow a beard on her face or wrestle tigers daily although she's not just a normal teenager and has to do abnormal things for a living, she's coping just fine under all the pressure that she's put. Balancing her home schooling and her travelling act isn't easy for her at all but she has a little secret for it all, the odd abilities she has when it comes to speed and time.

It occurred around Seven years ago, the Belikov circus had their biggest performance in America, Chicago to be more specific, Destiny was finally ready for her big solo but her nerves got the best of her, so she hid in the wardrobe closet before the show started. She was afraid that she would fall off from her horse Veruscka and they would laugh at her, after an hour of searching, her parents gave up looking for her and one of the acrobatic artists got to preform instead of her. That night, she bawled her eyes out because she regretted what she had done earlier, as she closed her eyes shut and pulled the duvet covers over her head, an icy tingle went down her spine and it felt like the room froze. It still feels impossible to her what had happened that day, she had no idea how she managed to back in time and change her stage fright, she told her parents about what happened by they laughed it off, she just had a dream because there was no way she could freeze time and travel back to fix her mistakes.

" Are you ready for tonight?", Sofia the stage manager asked Destiny in her dressing room. Tonight was their last night preforming in Russia, this was Destiny's all time favorite country, the snow covered mountains made her feel like she was in a Hans Christian fairy tale and every time the show ended the audience would swarm around her for her autograph like she was some type of foreign celebrity.

" Yes, it's just sad that we are leaving tomorrow ", Destiny sighed as she stroked the blush brush on her high cheek bones. She stared at her reflection in her old vanity mirror but it was missing a few flashbulbs but she didn't mind because it was the first gift she had gotten from her parents, she continue to stare at her big round eyes with flecks of grey in them and wondered if she resembled her birth parents.
