Emery couldn't believe Natasha was able to help her convince Pepper to let her go. There were rules of course. Emery was to defend only and not go actively seeking for a fight. That was also to be used as a last resort. Emery also had to check in with Pepper every couple hours to ensure that she was still alive and safe. Last but not least, she had to do whatever she could to come home. It was not optional. Emery was not allowed to die. Pepper even made her sign a contract which made Emery roll her eyes. Honestly, what was with her parents and contracts?
"Everyone set?" Steve asked as he sat in the pilot seat, Natasha beside him as his co-pilot.
"I'm set." Emery was the only vocal one and she realized it was a rhetorical question, "Sorry. This is my first real mission. It's a far cry from stopping an ATM robbery."
"I heard you flew a plane to stop it from crashing into the city." Natasha called back to her.
Emery blushed as all eyes turned to her, "W-well, I wouldn't really say I flew the plane. I steered it slightly so it would crash into a beach instead of the Empire State Building."
"Sounds pretty epic, considering you did it with a broken arm." Steve called back.
"How do you even know this?" Emery asked.
"Guilty." Rhodey said, raising his hand.
"When did you even have the time?"
"When you were in your room getting ready. What were you doing in there anyway? You didn't come out with anything."
Emery shrugged, "Meditating and psyching myself up." She left it at that.

Half way through the ride, Steve and Sam switched out. It didn't take long to get to Wakanda in the Quinjet. They were expecting them as well so it was easy to pass through their forcefield. The Avengers landed on top of the main building and exited the jet. They were met with King T-Challa and Okoye, the Kings right hand, and few of the guards.
"Seems like I'm always thanking you for something." Was Steves greeting to the King when they shook hands.
Bruce went to bow but the King stopped him, "We don't do that here." Bruce noticed everyone give him strange looks and shot a dark look to Rhodey who laughed at him.
T'Challa looked to Emery then, "You can't be more than 17. Are you an Avenger?"
"Honorary Avenger sir. I'm Emery Stark." Emery shook his hand.
"Stark?" Steve asked.
Emery shrugged, "I dropped the Whitmore. It was a mouthful."
"It's nice to meet you Miss Stark." T'challa said before turning and leading the way into the building, "So how big of an assault are we expecting?"
"Sir. I think you should expect quite a big assault." Bruce said as he pushed forward.
The King then went over every single type of guard he had on hand and how the Avengers had full use of them. They were thankful for all the support T'Challa was offering but there was one person that Steve was extremely thankful for and he just walked up.
"You'll also have a semi-stable 100-year-old man at your disposal as well." Bucky Barnes said as he walked up with a smile.
Steve hugged him in greeting, "How you been Buck?"
"Not bad... for the end of the world."
"We're on a bit of a time crunch here. We should get started." Emery said as she stepped forward, "It's nice to meet you by the way. I'm Emery Stark."
