It was now Monday, precisely seven days before school started. I had spent the past two days with Amina and Erin, resulting in us becoming the iconic trio that everyone needed in their lives.
Or so we liked to think.

I had been spending the nights at Lucas restaurant working, and just to have something to do.

I woke up at 8, extremely early but the jet lag hadn't let go of me yet. To my surprise Mattia were already up and dancing in front of his phone.

I furrowed my brows in confusion before walking up to him. "What are you doing?" I asked him, laughing slightly.

I didn't get any answer, but I knew he had heard me.
And when I tell you I got mad.

We've been living together for 4 days now, and he treated me like some piece of shit that he want to throw back to my own country.
Maybe that was how he felt, but since I was staying here for another 11 months, that was just too bad for him.

"Okay I don't know what kinda mask you're trying to hold up, but cut the crap" I snapped at him. "As much as you dislike it, I'm living with you now so you better start talking to me!" I couldn't help but raise my voice a little.

"Feisty, nice" was all he said, and you could practically hear the smirk on his face.
I rolled my eyes at him before walking to my bed once again.
"You're a dick"

I threw myself onto the bed and scrolled through insta, missing my friends back home a little extra today. After a few hours I decided to get ready, so I picked out a black nike track suit, two towels and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

I spend a good amount of time trying to condition my hair, which always seemed like a bad idea, so in the end, I gave up.

While applying some light makeup more and more noise came from our room.
I opened up the door and left the bathroom yelling;
"Mattia shut the hell up"
Walking around the corner revealed 4 guys and Mattia, all fighting on his bed.

"Oh" my cheeks reddened with embarrassment.

All of the five heads snapped in my direction, and I felt them eyeing me as I walked towards my own bed.

"Wait a minute" The small one with puffy hair said.
"This is her?"

They all suddenly looked at Mattia.

"Yeah" He announced, looking down all the time.
The four other boys attention once again were on me as I gave them a small smile.

"I'm Isla"

"Oh we know" the one with an extremely sharp jaw grinned.

"Heard much about you" another one said. He looked cute, besides from his hair. It was an edgar cut, and let me tell you. It was bad.

"Oh woaw, didn't now Mattia had much to say about me" I said, putting the pressure on much.

"I can't fuck with any of you" Mattia complained while getting up and leaving the room.
They looked at each other for a bit before introducing themselves.

The small one with puffy hair was Kairi, the sharp jaw boy was Alejandro, edgar cut was Alvaro and dark skinned beauty was Roshaun.

"So you're friends with Amina and Erin?" I couldn't help but ask, receiving a nod from all of them in response.

"Yeah, Aminas my girl" Alejandro announced. I couldn't help but smile, imagining how cute of a couple they probably were.

Mattia eventually returned and we all just sat in our room and got to know each other.
They left at 8pm, but we decided to hang out tomorrow, with Erin and Amina too.

I sat in bed, minding my own business when Mattia suddenly spoke up. "Don't think you're part of the group, alright?"

I looked at him.
"You deadass?"

"Yeah"

"Look Mattia, idk what kinda problem you have with me, but you can't keep me from hanging with you guys" While I was speaking he turned off all lights and turned on his LED lights, making everything in the room purple.

"I don't have a problem with you" he stated dryly.

I looked at him in disbelief before he spoke up once again. "I just don't like you"

Mattias pov:

"I just don't like you"
That was a fucking lie, and I might even think she knew it.

"Ouch" she took her hand and placed it on her heart, pretending to be hurt.
I grinned lowly at her, not sure if she noticed.

She could be a part of the group anytime. I mean, look at her.
She's fucking hot.

But at the same time, something about her bothered me, but I couldn't quite find out what it was.
But that she became instant friends with my friends certainly did fuel the fire.

Islas pov:

I decided ignoring him for the rest of the night, not wanting spend my energy on his weird ass.
I instead did a face mask and FaceTimed Erin, arranging what we should do tomorrow.

She said that her and Alvaro talked about going to the lake in the hills nearby, so I could see their summer hangout spot.

I didn't bother arguing about it so I agreed and informed Mattia about it, didn't seem like he cared much about it though.

I went to sleep early that night, hoping I could get a good amount of sleep and finally be free of jet lag.

Much to my dismay, I woke up at 5am.
