¡I changed the name of this book to acquaintances, sorry if I've confused anyone!

I walked out after about one hour in the bathroom to reveal Mattia talking to someone.
I walked to my closet to put my products back, when I got a quick glimpse of his phone.
"What are you doing?"

He turned around to look at me, his face full of boredom."I'm live"
I couldn't help but laugh.
"Ohhhh" I took the towel off of my head. "With all your tiktok fans"

He threw a nearby hoodie at me before groaning out a "shut up"
He then returned his attention to the screen, starting reading some comments.
"Who's this?" He read aloud and then pointed at me. I walked up behind him so I could read them too.

"This is Isla, some annoying girl that lives a my house"
I slapped the back of his head harshly, making him whimper a little.
"Screw you Mattia. I'm an exchange student" I answered them before walking to my own bed.

"Nooo come back, they love you" he said, making his voice extra sugary. I shook my head no, still laughing at him.

"What's your insta?"

He turned around, a hurt look on his face.
"You don't follow me?"

I shook my head no, "why should I? You're annoying"

He then threw a charger at me.
"Go back to London already" he yelled playfully.

I laid in bed, the clock were nearing 12am. Mattia came walking out of the bathroom with his toothbrush in his mouth.
"You know what Isla?" He sat down on the edge of my bed.

I shook my head no, giving him a weird look. "You've become slightly more tolerable today"

"I'm glad"

"Don't get your hopes up tho" he stood up again and walked towards the bathroom. He stopped in the doorframe before turning around, looking me dead in the eye. "We're still not friends"

"Ouch" I couldn't help but laugh at his silliness. This boy is 16? More like 5.

I put on the LED lights, playing around with the colours until I chose a nice purple tone.
Mattia jumped into his own bed, watching something on his phone.

"So" I broke the silence, making him look at me.
"Who's Jenna?"

He let out a small grin. "You see"

Mattias pov:

"You see" I cleared my throat. "She's my girlfriend"

"Oh"
I saw her head fall back down on her pillow.

"What was that?" I asked, sitting up against my bed frame.
"You just didn't seem very into her, earlier"
Was that a slight bit of jealousy?

"You don't know that" I said, slightly pushing her to say more. But she didn't.
A waited a few more minutes, until I heard her breathing heavily, signalling that she was asleep.
Cute.

Wait.
Not cute.
I don't know why I just thought that to be honest.

A few more minutes passed before I drifted into sleep my self.

Islas pov:

I was woken up by my alarm and a grumpy ass man on the other side of the room telling me to shut it off. I did before getting up and picking out an outfit for the day.

I didn't spend long on the bathroom, not feeling like doing to much about my looks today.
I didn't feel like eating breakfast either, so I just watched some show with Gianluca until Mattia was ready to go.

After about 40 minutes we were rolling into the parking lot of PVHS. I stepped out of the car and as I shut the door I heard someone scream my name.
I turned around seeing Jenna and two other girls I didn't recognise.

"Should I wait for you?" Mattia asked, I shook my head no before walking towards her.

"Yes?" I asked, trying to avoid the glares her two minions sent me.

"Why were you arriving with Mattia?" She spat, her voice sharp.
I looked away trying to hide my grin.
"Shouldn't you know? I means he's YOUR boyfriend, not mine" I didn't feel like getting into any drama yet, so I spun around and walked towards the entrance with steady steps.

I quickly bumped into Amina and Alejandro, we all walked to our first period of the day.
