A/N Don't own any of the characters that credit all goes to the wonderful queen who gave us the HP series JK Rowling I only own the plot.

Hermione is in her fourth year at Hogwarts, she is walking to the library to finish her potions essay. As she is walking a tall blonde figure comes running down the hall and hits her she moves back a little bit but is able to stay on her feet, her book bag rips and everything falls to the floor,papers,books,ink and quills scatter the hall. "Ugh" hermione groans as she bends down to pick up all of her belongings, she looks up to see who ran into her, of course it was Draco Malfoy. She glares at him as she picks up her things, but what surprises her most is she thinks he bends down to help her pick her belongings. She was wrong about him helping her, he picks up one of her books smirked at her and ran off. "MALFOY, YOU GET BACK HERE WITH MY BOOK OR I WILL HEX YOU! She hollered but he was already gone. 'Dang he's fast' she said to herself as
She groaned and flicked her wand si her book bag would sew itself back up. Then she flicked it again and all the books and things floated neatly inside.
She ignored what Malfoy did and went to the library to finish the essay. She smiled and nodded at Madame Pince as she walked in and set all of her things down. She got out a new parchment, her ink pot and feathered quill and started writing her essay for potions.

--2 hours later--
Hermione wrote the last few words for her essay, checked it over then looked at the time and thought she would wait in the library and read for a little while to calm herself.
Hermione went to her little reading corner that she always read at and took a book from the shelf opened it and started reading.
