A couple weeks had passed since Hailey was released from the hospital, Jenna and Val had thought bringing her home would help her memory return, they were wrong. Everyday felt like the last, Hailey wasn't Hailey anymore and her parents thought she would never be Hailey ever again. "Ever since we brought her home, nothing has worked, nothing" said Jenna. "Don't worry she will get her memory back" Val said "I hope" he then said under his breath. "What did you just say" said an angry Jenna. "Nothing, I said nothing, I'll go take the boys to the park" Val said trying to leave the house as quickly as possible. "Maybe wasn't the right thing to say" he said to himself.
All Hailey wanted to do was remember even the slightest memory, that's all she wanted, but nothing. Later that day Val came back home with the boys hoping that Jenna had cooled down and he would apologize. "Jenna, I'm back" Val slightly yelled through the door as he walked in. But Jenna had gone out as well leaving Hailey to her own devices.
