Haydens pov

I wake up to the sound of birds on my bedroom floor...

after I came into the house Owen waited for awhile and im assuming saw me sob histarically.

once I decided to change I did so but found something I had forgotten about and sobbed some more before I passed out.

as I get up I feel the ache in my back and in my chest... something is gonna happen and im not gonna like the outcome.....

I walk out into the kitchen look for something to eat. before I can even start looking though my dad walks out of his room.

"well good morning you gonna do the dishes?" he asks with an evil smile..

"when im done eating maybe." I say cautiously

"no your gonna do them im seriously so sick of you worthless pieces's of shit being lazy fucks and not doing anything.. god damn it you guys are so worthless." he starts to yell.

"cool." Is all I say before going back to my room.

"maybe while your in there you could clean since you sit on your ass and don't do it." he yells up the stairs.

I just shut my door to this and eat my breakfast.

when im done I throw what I can away which is everything.. I don't even make dishes at this point im always eating things from work or getting food from somewhere...

as I walk back to my room I hear my dad yelling again and I just keep walking until im back in my room.

before I realize what im doing im putting something more out doorsy on and im leaving my house.

"where are you going?" my dad asks as I pass him in the living room.

"the beach." I say putting my shoes on.

"who you meeting down there?"

"no one you do realize I go down there to hang out by myself a lot right? im not always going down there to meet someone I haven't done that in years."

"whatever. when you get back you better start cleaning." is all my dad says before I walk out the door.

when I get to the beach I grab a cigaret from the pack I have and light it. taking a long drag I can't help but silently fall apart again. I get a snap from Owen asking what im doing and I just say im busy but I guess he doesn't get the hint cause the next thing I know he's zooming into the parking lot of the beach blasting mariposa by felly.

I throw whats left of my cig to the ground and start to walk towards him.

"oh heyyyy hays I didn't know you were here." he says getting out of his jeep.

"ya ok sure whats up?" I ask upset that he was there I really wanted to sit with my thoughts even though either way they were all of him.

"oh nothing I was just gonna vibe down here for a bit by myself but now that I know your here lets vibe together." he says coming over and throwing his arm over my shoulder.

"oh what a joy." I say sarcasm evident in my voice. we go sit at the picnic tables sitting in the middle of the field..

"so how have you been since last night?" Owen asks as he lays down on the table looking up at the sky.

"fine im kinda surprised luna even wanted to be my friend." I say shrugging and going on my phone. I see a notification from Owen. I don't open it though since I really don't want him to know his name in my phone is noodles n company. 

some how though he sees the name.

"who's noodles in company?" he asks with a smirk.

"well wouldn't you like to know sorry but im not telling." I smirk back.

"well I could just take your phone and look."

"A you don't know my password and B what if its some mysterious lover I don't want anyone to know about?"

"well I do know your password and maybe I gotta let this guy know who he's dealing with if he hurts you."

"you'll have to get my phone first." I say shoving my phone in-between my boobs.

"hey thats not fair come on." Owen pouts his face going red.

"well life isn't fair now is it." I retort "why do you wanna know so bad anyway?" I ask taking my phone out of my boobs.

"well you have heart eyes by the name so im assuming you have a crush on someone and im a curious dude so I would love to figure out who you have your eyes on."

"well that sucks cause your never gonna know sorry." I smile triumphantly.

"oh really then why do I have your phone?" Owen holds my phone up before bolting and some how hopping the fence before I can even get up.

"Owen if you cherish our friendship will you please not look to see who he is please I um don't think your gonna like who you find." I say my face has turned bright red and im trying to make him not look as best I can. then get the feeling scarlet is about to take over.

"shit shit shit scarlet not right now please." I say to  myself as I go sit back down.

"hays you good?" Owen asks running over.

"she's fine just embarrassed." scarlet says for me.

"oh ok thank goodness I thought I really upset her." Owen then hops the fence again and comes to sit next to me... well scarlet.

"please tell me you didn't actually look to see who that was." scarlet says turning red.

"um no I was going too but hays saying if I cherish our friendship made me change my mind. what did she mean by that?"

"you'll know in time. you already know deep down but you won't let it out for awhile. just know your both going to be very happy." thats all she says before I m in control again.

"what do you mean by that?" he asks but then realizes its me again. "never mind. heres your phone."

"thank you for not looking... I know I shouldn't keep secrets but this is something ive held with me for awhile... since 7th grade actually." I say with a small smile.

"oh really now who did you talk to besides like Erin and Lilith and pagan? oh is Shane?" he asks with a smirk.

"no its someone who ive watched silently for awhile.. not in a creepy way but every time we pass in the hall or a class we have had ive silently fallen for him even though he never noticed me." I say trying to give it away.

"oh so he notices you now hmmmm interesting. ill figure it out sunshine one day." he smirks and I fall all over again.

damn this boy I swear its gonna hurt when he finally realizes he doesn't want me.
