I wake up with my legs throbbing and mattias arms snakes around me. He sleeps so peacefully I catch myself staring for a really long time.
"Stop staring" he says waking up
"I'm not staring" I say sarcastically
"Mhm" he says as I get up
He grabs my arm
"No stay let's cuddle" he says
"Mattia I have to get ready for this dinner thing and I have to get Val ready" I say pouting
"Okay" he say sadly
Then my phone dings

Mattia looks before me
"Jackson....the one from are class who's always flirting with you" he says with a annoyed face
"I didn't even know he had my snap let me see" I say going to my phone
"Nahh Imma see first" he says pulling it off the charger
"Tiaaa" I say trying to get the phone from him
"Ouhh he says 'hey beautiful, what shall we say back..maybe fuck off you shrimp dick rat" he says laughing
"Mattia don't say that just leave him on open" I say pleading
"Ight but don't be texting him back cause your mine" he says pulling me onto his lap
"Mhm" I say kissing him
"You gotta get ready now baby" he says tapping my thigh
"Ahhh but I can wait alittle longer" I say giving him the look
He flips me over and lies me on the bed and wispers I to my ear
"Get up and get dressed so you can go" mattia says demandingly

He laughs and gets into the covers
I go into vals room and wake her up gently.
"Baby we gotta get up we're going out to meet someone" I say softly
"Who sissy" she says rubbing her eyes
"Umm you've never really met him before but you knew him when you were a little baby" I say trying to explain to the best of my ability
"Can chico come" she ask cause she usually takes the dog everywhere with her
"No not this time but maybe next time" I say
"Okay" she says getting up
~fast forward to her dad on the way~
"I don't know if I can do this mattia" I ay pacing back and forth on the porch
"Mammas you can your strong I know it" he says back to me stopping me in my place and planting a small kiss on my lips
That's when I hear the voice. I did t even hear his car pull in.
"I'm sorry to interrupt" the man says
"Oh uh dad sorry" I say quietly. Why am I worrying this man who left me so long ago
"Is this you boyfriend or something" he says
"Uh yeah" I say wow nice way to see me for the first time in a while
"Hi my names mattia it's nice to meet you sir" mattia says holding out his hand to shake my fathers
"As do I" my dad says shaking mattias hand
I run in to get Val. I grab her and I give Matt a hug.
"Have a nice time sweetie" he says to me
"Thanks Matt see you later" I say walking out the door
I put vals car seat in the car rom Matt's car and I buckle in Val, then I get into the from and wave bye to mattia. He stands there till I pull off
"So how have you been" my dad says
Wow nice way to start the conversation.
"Good and you" I say not making eye contact
"Good, Mattia seems like a nice guy" he says
"Yeah he's been there for me couldn't say the same for you" I say breaking the ice
"I'm gonna explain that just give me a chance" he says as we pull up to the restaurant that was only down the street from mattias so it wasn't that far
He opens the door for me and I go to unbuckle Val and carry her in.
"You both look beautiful, I must say" he says trying to make the situation less awkward
"Thanks" I say showing a fake smile
We sit down and I order for me and Val she just gets a Mac and cheese bowl and chicken tenders like usual.
"I-" my father begins to say before I cut him off
"I'm ready to hear the sorry excuse you have fore leaving me and Val with my horrible mom" I say
"You mother forced me out, she said if I didn't leave that she would say I beat her and you two, and I knew I would never have a chance to be a father to you guys with a restraining order against me" he says
"And why did you never visit I say as a tear falls down my face
"Your mother never let me so I moved away for alittle, then I moved back to see if she had changed her mind, but she always wanted to make it like she had to do everything on her own when I would have helped, when cps called me I knew it was my chance to come back and try to regain what I had lost" he say as a tear rolls down his face
"Dad I didn't know" I say getting up and goin to hug him
"I missed you sweetie and Val,I didn't want to leave you" by now I'm full on crying
"I'm sorry for being so harsh to you dad" I say sitting back down and looking at Val who is eating her food and smiling
I smile at her
"That's why I was thinking you move in with me and we can regain the connection we lost" he says sitting up
"Can I think about it" I say looking down
"For sure sweetie I only live a few blocks away from matts so you and Val can visit him anytime and you'll be in the same school" he says
"Ok I'll for sure think about it"
