Cold and wet, tired and exhausted she made her way along the path through the forest. Zoe Morgana Nightshade was on her way back to the hunters campgrounds when she was attacked by a titan. When she stood up she was confronted by Oceanus the titan lord of the sea. Zoe wanted to warn the hunters but couldn't or he would find their base. So she ran to find Annabeth Chase, Perseus Jackson, Thalia Grace, and Grover Underwood for help to defeat the titan. But out of nowhere he disappeared. "It must have been a test ",she said aloud ," Wow, at least I can relax". Maybe just maybe that was just a mind trick she thought.
When she was finally calmed down she decided to get in some archery practice. She took her bow and went to the practice range four feet away. When she got there she saw a manticore and screamed but nothing happened. Then she realized that it wasn't a manticore but Mrs. O'leary the demonic dog from the underworld. Mrs. O'leary belonged to Perseus Jackson and that meant he was here and her heart plummeted. She could stand Annabeth, Thalia, and Grover but not Persy. When she saw him holding riptide she sighed then they saw her and walked toward her. As she walked toward him her olympian houn trudged after her. If he had known she were coming he would have left Riptide in his pocket she had given the sword to Hercules and he betrayed her.
When the group finally came together there was an awkward silence. Thalia looked at her cousin and sighed she hoped after her last mission with Zoe that they would get past what had happened between Zoe and Percy. On their last mission together Zoe had died and was sent to the stars and the sword Percy used was given to Hercules by Zoe before she was a hunter. As Zoe stood in front of their confused gazes she asked ,"What are you all looking at ?"
At the exact same time they all said "You."
"You died Zoe and were sent to the stars," said Annabeth and looked at her feet, "how are you here?" she asked as she looked up to face Zoe.
"What do you mean annabeth I was not sent to the stars I was sent to Olympus and was granted immortality so I could stay on Earth and watch over all of the people of Earth and am now the goddess of life and dreams," zoe said, " and I am proud that I can protect the innocent and let their dreams come true."
"Zoe one more thing ,"Percy spoke up,"how have you been and it's good to see you."
"You to Percy," she said smiling and gave them all hugs,"it's good to see you all, especially you Thalia ,my little sister."
"Same to you sis," thalia told her, "thank you for finally telling them, but does Lady Artemis know you're back?"
"No,"Zoe said sadly.
"Let's head head back to camp," Annabeth told everyone.
Once they got back to the camp they were greeted by Artemis herself "Zoe welcome back your father told me you were coming,"she said.
"Hello lady artemis how are you?" Zoe asked.
"I spoke with your father and he is letting you stay with me until a task arrives and you are needed" Artemis told her smiling, then hugged her ,"you are an honorary huntress."
"Thank You my lady,"she said aloud,"it is good to be here again."
Later that night Zoe couldn't sleep so she decided to take a walk around the camp. When she saw her father standing there in front of her, she wondered if he was here for Thalia or her, so she walked toward him and he did the same.
"What are you doing here? Is this about Thalia?" she asked.
"No it is about you," his booming thunderous voice came to her loudly ,"how are you doing with the whole goddess thing?"
"Zoe?" It was the one person she loved the most; it was Travis Stoll son of hermes.
"Travis?" she said shockingly.
