The Story of How I Died

I had already written the notes. Farewells to my loved ones. I was home alone, so I'd want to say my goodbyes at some point. Med overdose wasn't an option, because Mom left those in a lock box. Bleeding out seemed painful and time consuming. I had decided on the ever-popular hanging method. I had a rope tied to the ceiling fan and a chair right underneath it. I put my head through the loop and stood for a minute. What would life be like when I was gone? I had no friends. All I had was family, and I was pretty sure they hated me too. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I, Jessica Lee, was about to commit suicide. Then, a whirring came into the room and paper fluttered about. I opened my eyes and saw a blue box materializing in the corner. A man, clad in a suit, Chuck Taylors, and 3D glasses stepped out.

"Oi, what do ya think ya doing?"
