It Should've Been You

Don't be mad

   Yesterday August and Karrueche didn't come to school. I put on some Black Bandana joggers, a white crop top, a jacket, and some white nike's. I put my hair in a bun and had some hanging in the back. I got my keys to my green Dodge Challenger.

  My dad's family own several Dodge companies and I got several cars that I don't and won't share with anyone.

  

   I was at school, going to my locker when I seen Kalonnie, Jamia, and Aisanal walking towards me. I waved and they said hey. "So what happened to Karrueche and August yesterday? And why'd y'all leave?" I asked while taking my books out the locker. "We was hungry." Jamia said. Aisanal nodded her head. "We was all hungry and especially August, so he was supposed to take us some where. Turns out what he wanted was not on any menu. And of course he got it from Karrueche 'cause she loves August." Kalonnie said.

   I started shaking my head. Don't I love the nigga too? I told them that already and Karrueche loves him more than me? Alright. "We don't know what happened to them yesterday." Aisanal said. "Their go y'all best friends." I said. "Really Apryl?" They asked. I nodded. "Y'all trust her more than me, and do whatever she says." I said.

  "Hey y'all." August and Karrueche said. He was all on her and everything like ugh. "I'ma go." I said.

The next day

  I was out with Jhene and Mila. We was at the mall shopping. We went into DEB and I seen a cute pair of jeans and a dress. I got that and then we went to Foot Locker. Got 2 pairs of shoes and they were all the same. After that we went to Bath and Body Works got about 4 things from there.

  Today all I wanted to do was shop and eat. Since yesterday I found out August and Karrueche was dating. "I never told Karrueche how I felt about Aug. So maybe half of it is my fault." I said to Jhene and Mila. "Hol' up Apryl. It ain't your fault." Mila said. "August knew you liked him. He should've never let her get that close." Jhene said.

  My phone started vibrating. I took it out and seen August number. "What in the hell do you want?" I asked him. "Why wasn't you at school Today?" He asked. "Same reason why you wasn't at school Tuesday." I said. "Whatever Apryl." He said. This guy kept looking at me smiling and waving, but he was with his girl.

  "Flyer than yo girl, baby gone and take my picture." I said while walking pass him and smiling. He winked. "Jhene and Mila. Y'all saw that right?" I asked. They nodded and started laughing when his girl kissed him. "Sweetie don't nobody want yo man. He wants me." I said to her. "What you say Apryl?" August asked. "Oh shit you still on the line?" I asked. "Yea. A boy looking at you?" He asked. "Yeah. And don't you got a girl to take care of? Bye August." I said.
