"I love you, you know that right? And I always will..."

I repeated the line I said every day, my knees planted into the dirt that lay in front of me that covered the coffin of the one I love most.

"I never got to ask you out... I wish I could go back in time, I should have saved you. I would have saved you. And then we would be dating, a few years from now maybe even married. With children. I had a dream, where it all happened. I got a job at an electronics company, and we were fiances. We were gonna get married Koo! Married!"

I continued rambling, before the rain pouring down was too overwhelming.

I kissed my fingers, laying them on his grave.

Flashback

We were walking down the hallway, the lights blaring out the dirt walls.

I couldn't wait to arrive, I could practically smell my bed calling for me.

Kookie seemed as excited as me, his hand shaking as I gripped onto it everytime the ceiling shook.

It had been shaking since we started walking, and I couldn't help but feel like, we should start walking faster.

"Koo? Let's walk a little faster yeah? You wanna get home quicker, don't you? Go see your mommy and Jin hyung?"

He nodded, before his pace increased along with mine.

The ceiling seemed to be shaking more, and my hand gripped Kookie's tighter.

Suddenly, the ceiling collapsed behind us, and dirt surrounded every inch around us.

"KOO RUN!"

He let go of my hand as we sprinted down the corridor, more dirt collapsing with every step we took.

I heard a yelp and turned to see Koo under a chunk of dirt.

I ran back, digging the dirt off him before attempting to grab his arm.

He was coughing and spluttering, the dirt suffocating him.

"T-tae?" He called out.

"Wait a second Kook, you'll be out soon, it's okay!"

"Tae," he said with a firmer voice this time.

"Just breathe, yeah? Stay with me Jungkook!"

"TAE!"

His sudden yell made me stop and look at him.

"Just leave, please Tae-tae. J-just leave me, the exit will be blocked soon,"

I frowned at his statement, ignoring it as I started digging again.

"Tae, just l-listen... remember what happened last time when you didn't listen? T-the cockroach almost g-got you!"

He smiled faintly, his breathing slowing down as I could see the dust he was inhaling.

"Kook? Stay with me Koo!"
