5 Months from now

"What are we gonna do about witchy bitch?", Lauren asked me as she entered the living room. I was still full of blood and I was still shivering. I will never forget what we just did.

"Pez? Perrie? Wake up!", Lauren suddenly called out on me. I didn't even realize she was standing in front of me by now. "We have to fix this witch problem. Now."

"Can't we just grieve for a second here?!", I suddenly screamed at her, which surprised her. "We just.. killed someone. And.. It wasn't just someone."

"Perrie, I thought you were over... it.", she said now quietly. "We had to. There was no other option and he even-"

"Don't.", I interrupted her. "He didn't want anything but me being happy." I took a deep breath before I stood up. "I'm not happy.", I clarified sadly before I ran up my room in vampire speed.

That's when I saw Jade sitting there, on my bed, now facing me. I totally forgot she was still here. I wasn't really in the best mood at the moment and I knew exactly why she was here.

"Perrie, I get that it's not the best timing right now, but I think we should talk.", she said gently and patted on the free bedside next to her.

"Jade..", I sighed. "I can't talk about this right now. I don't even know if I want to talk about it."

She was disappointed. Of course. I was ruining everything, but I was never good with loss. After finding someone again who you thought you'd have forever with and then lose them again destroys someone inside. And things weren't getting easier when you had to shut the love of your life out of your life, too.

"I know he was important to you." Jade now changed the topic.

I scoffed and went towards the bathroom that was connected to my bedroom. I immediately heard Jade's footsteps following me. I had to get this blood off of me. His blood.

"I don't mean to sound rude, but you don't know anything, Jade. Not about him or him and me or what he was to me.", I tried to stay as nice as possible right now, but thinking back to a few hours ago just made me want to kill myself.

"Okay, then listen.", Jade now said sternly. "I may not know what you two had or how special it was, but I do know how important you are to me and that for me, this-" She pointed towards me and her. "Is something special. I know what it's like to love someone so much you'd die for them. Because I love you."

Now it was quiet. I've had known Jade for five months now and she and I had gone through a lot together. We lost many people. Of course, this still wasn't the end of this mess but it connected me and Jade. We were connected for forever. Because things like that can't make you un-love someone. And now Jade said the L word. What was I supposed to do now?

"Jade..", I sighed. We were battling with so many things right now. It was not the time.

"I shouldn't have said that, I'm sorry. I know it's not the time.", she apologized. I decided not to answer to that because I did love her, but she was right. It was not the time. "All I wanted to say was.. We had to choose, Perrie. We had to choose someone. Lauren, Nick and I had to choose and I chose you and Lauren chose you and Nick didn't but he, your forever, did. He died for you because he wanted to. It was right.." She made a pause right there. "And I would always let someone else go through fire if it meant you'd be alive."

And then she left the room.

Back to present;

"So we used to live here, like I said, and now that we're back it feels strange. A lot has changed from back when we were kids.", I told Jade as we went down the stairs again to look for Jesy. Jade was asking me questions about my family background and where I was living before I came here. So I told her about Scotland. My time in Scotland was very peaceful. I lived near a castle where rarely people walked past, which was perfect for my blood lust.
