The Confession and The Despair

Hey Guys this is my first Eremika fanfiction sorry if I misspell certain things but I am sure i'll be on top of it.

        The last of the titans fall towards the southern parts of the forest, all thanks to Eren humanity was saved. However people still cradle within the walls against the titans, they still can't believe that it is over. Perhaps that is the best because they did appear out of no where to begin with after all. Bust since the titans are gone people are free to move out of the wall when they please and enter as they so desire. It is a peaceful time after so much blood has been shed, though  to eren he still can't experience what its like to be at peace.

After eren came back to the walls the first thing he did was bought a house for him and mikasa to live in (no they are not together). But the people within these walls treat him as if he was a titan, throwing tomatoes and bread at him whenever he walks the streets.

'why does this happen to me, I saved all these people shouldn't I be praised for once?' Mikasa closely behind eren spoke as if reading his mind. "look eren who cares what they think you have me remember?" Eren smiled warmly as he looked at mikasa "Yeah you are right, im so lucky to be close to you mikasa". You could see the redness start to form on mikasas cheeks, 'man if only she knew I have loved her for as long as  I can remember'.

After buying some things from the supermarket they headed home straight away to start up dinner. "You know eren what is life going to be like without us training to fight titans?" eren didnt know how to respond to it really he thought about it for a while and finally said. "you know armin and annie left to go see the outside world together not to long ago..." Mikasa began to fill with rage "WHAT ARE YOU SUGGESTING?" " im conformatable here eren I dont want to go outside the walls..." mikasa's rage died down to more of a pout then anything. "okay okay its cool trust me I would like nothing more than to be here with you, so has any of the friends from before talked to you recently?"

"uhm.." mikasa sighed.. "I talked with jean yesterday, he kind of asked me out on a date". "hahah what did he say when you declined?" mikasa's eyes widened then died down almost instantly. "i didnt decline I think it would be great for me to get in a relationship with someone... don't you?" Eren filled with rage you could cleary see his short temper start to show "WHAT OF COURSE ITS GOOD BUT NOT WITH HIM!" mikasa followed the same tone as him "WHAT'S SO WRONG WITH JEAN?HUH? HE HAS TREATED ME FAR BETTER THAN YOU EVER HAVE! I THINK HE IS A PERFECT SUIT".

Eren devasted took a step back then told her with the saddest expression you would have ever seen "oh sorry I have been such a dick to you over the years.." "maybe its best if i just went and bought another house so you and jean can stay here with one another..." Mikasa quickly regretting his outburst "no eren im sorry I said those things, please stay here" "Its alright mikasa I got tons of money for being in the scout regimen so long that it wont be a big deal for me to buy one" eren began opening the door to leave"WAIT eren no that's not it we are brother and sister right? we should stay together..." Eren cracked a smile than opened the door and took one step out before saying" Maybe thats just it Mikasa, maybe its cause I don't want us to know each other as siblings, truth is I Have kind of loved you more than that for a long time"Eren took another step out of the door "But I can finaly tell that you dont love me that way back, I suppose I was a fool huh?" Mikasa began to have a tear fall down her face, not out of sadness or happiness. But out of confusion, how was she going to handle this it took her so long to forget about loving eren that way. She finaly moved on and is now finding out that eren liked her this whole time."Eren I don't know what to say" " I already agreed to go on a date with jean". Eren with a full smile on his face and a tear coming from his eye quickly said with a shaky voice "Its alright I was a fool to think you felt the same way, i'll see ya around mikasa"

Eren left and mikasa started balling her eyes out, she has waited so long for eren to say those words why did she turn them down? She was full of regret and sadness she didn't know what to do. She swiped away the tears and stood up firm "I will forget about eren that way and we can just be friends" "whats done is done!"
