I sighed every time I put a new set of clothes in my suitcase, I feel like it's way too much work having to deal with an arrogant little asshole like him. I don't even understand this assignment at all, how is this going to create more chemistry between us? There isn't even chemistry at all so how can you turn nothing into everything in such little amount of time. I brushed my bangs out of my face and let out a huff. When I finally finished packing my belongings I zipped my suitcase up and drowsily walked down the stairs, on my way to remind my mom to drop me off at their house.

"Mom, when are you dropping me off?" I asked my mother

"Oh, Sasuke is picking you up" She replied disinterested

I suddenly yelled, "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME BEFORE UGH YOU AL-"

I was interrupted by sharp pain in my cheek, my eyes widened as I comprehended what happened. I was honestly used to this, the harshness of my mother, feeling uncomfortable just breathing the same air as her, the anxiety she caused me, how she would physically abuse me; I remember everything. So if I was used to this then why was I so surprised, you ask? Her abuse hasn't happened for a while, although I should've have known to never get too comfortable, I let my senses get to me and I was quite caught off guard.

"Mackenzie White, don't be so fucking disrespectful to your damned mother." She glared daggers at me as she spoke, "I give you more than enough food, you live in house, and go to school so stop acting like a bitch."

I only nodded at her request, I was going to scoff but who knows what else would happen if I did so I kept my mouth shut. My mother and I stared at each other in silence until I heard a honk which I internally thanked Sasuke for, Wow I actually thanked him for something, well in my head I did.

"Bye Mother! I'm leaving now." I shut the door before finishing my sentence oops. Heheh there's one I thing I won't miss heheheh. I walked over to the car parked by my house but stopped in the middle of my tracks just to look at it in awe. The black, shiny Cadillac suited him, its leather seats and dark appearance gave it a mysterious vibe. He smirked as he made the engine roar.

"Get in Miss White" He scoffed.

I pressed my hand softly but reluctantly on the handle before pulling it slowly, making sure I don't mess up its attractive exterior. Then I stared blankly at the passenger seat then back the raven haired beauty.

He chuckled, "relax I'm not gonna rape you or something if that's what you're thinking."

I rolled my eyes, "as if" and sat down, closing the opaque door.

We just sat there, actually it was kinda awkward, he was listening to some bands like I think they are: My Chemical Romance, Fall out Boys, Pierce the Vail, Paramost, Blue Veil Brides something like that, of course "emo music" which perfectly matches his personality. (I actually like My Chemical Romance, Paramore, and Fall Out Boy; I am aware of the other bands, I used, although their names are: Peirce the Veil and Black Veil Brides. Notice I spelled them incorrectly for emphasis on her lack of knowledge about bands)

I giggled silently thinking about how emo Sasuke is but before you know it we were at his house. Before I got out of the car I remembered the note Mikoto gave me which was supposedly her "address". I opened the card and read the words.

"Sasuke is picking you up suckerrrrr :) "

I laughed quietly at Mikoto's humor before walking towards Sasuke's immense house, like seriously how rich is this guy? As we walked in the front door, I looked at the ornate décor at the entrance.

"wowwwwwwwww" I spoke out as my eyes simmered.

Sasuke smirked at my reaction, "you get impressed easily don't you?"

As I averted my gaze forward I was welcomed by the one and only, Mikoto Uchiha.

"Mackenzie you're here! Finally a girl!!" she said as she clasped her hands together.

"Whatever where's her room anyways." Sasuke was being a party pooper as usual.

"In your room of course, we're trying to create chemistry aren't we?" Mikoto relpied

All I managed to say was "O".

Sasuke and I walked up the stairs and of course he carried my stuff because I'm just not feeling it. When we were on the top of the steps I saw he was sluggish so I decided to tease him, BIG MISTAKE.

"Hurry it up Sasgay." Then I tapped his ass LMAO.

Soon he glared at me and pushed my suitcase down the steps, I MEAN WHAT I SAY!

"Then carry your own shit." He said coldly.

"Fine" I muttered, "little baby can't take a joke"

I walked up his room lugging my stuff, and when I reached there I plopped on the bed and examined the room. The room was white, with a king sized bed, a flat screen, and some video games, it was grandiose and comfy.

"Well I'm going to sleep goodnight." I waved off Sasuke.

"But you haven't had dinner yet." He replied.

"I'm not hungry." I said.

"Okay." He looked at me and sat on the bed.

"What are you doing?" I asked him curiously.

"I'm staying here until you fall asleep." I was rather shocked by his answer but still decided to drift into sleep. Before I lost consciousness I told him...

"P.S. I still hate you"

Sasuke's POV

I watched as Mackenzie fell asleep, I would say she look peaceful but I would be lying. She was crying, whimpering, and wailing almost like a child who watched her parents murdered before her eyes. That may sound morbid but what do you expect from me? She tossed and turned and shivered uncomfortably. I scooched closer to her and caressed her hair and gave a soothing "shhhhh."until she loosened up a bit, it seemed to work which made me slightly smile. I watched as she slept like a baby, I laughed at how lame she looked. I looked at her features, at how her bangs her in her face, how she scrunched up her nose, how her eyes would flutter once in a while. I wondered what made her so interesting, she had an average figure, average bust, the usual brown eyes, she was petite but it made her fun sized. She overall seemed average but something about her wasn't, I couldn't figure it out but I could feel it.
