I am laying herewith our bundle of love
The child that we found
together in the middle of the jungle
Banned by her parents and her clan
Is next to me
Her fingers around holding tightly
to the baby is laying on the chest.
Surrounded by friends and family
I take a trip down memory lane
and I lose myself in another time
We met in a jungle
Like Tarzan and Jane
You saved me from a snake and then a spider
We kissed and it was magical
Just before tigers came
Their paws silent as the dark night
Their voices soft as thunder
Tore our hopes apart
Tore our Dream intro dust into the Wind
I escape with a suffering child
leaving you behind
My heart cried for several days
Bleeding out and turning to stone
The Suffering Child
Were back and blue
Wrapped in a white cloth
She babbles in a strange language
and swings her legs high in the air
We walked through the jungle
Her on my back
trough many months
and many regions
South and North
West and East
There is no place like our home
In our homeland
I discovered you have left me with a gift
On our last night together
Inside my stomach
a little seed had taken root
Today we celebrate that we
found each other and our child
because as they say
it is better to have loved and lost
Than never have loved at all
