The ballad of a dove
Two star crossed lovers
Thinking we could change it all
We were so young
The first time we saw each other
I closed my eyes and the flashback started
saw you standing there
On my balcony in the hot summer hair
The smell of lotus flowers in my pink hair
See all the lights the party and the ballgowns
The masks, the stars, the drinks and the love in the air
Your smile and your eyes
Takes me back for a time in my wildest dreams
You were older, thats okay.
I was younger and In in love
I gave up everything
My friends, my family and our love
I had so so many dreams about you and I
If we die young bury me in satin
Laid me on the a bed a of roses
Next to you For all eternity
Our love will be remembered
In a little linen boat
Like the one Moses washed up in
Send me away with the words of a love song
Make a rainbow shine for those whom grieve after we are gone
They w'll know I'm safe with you when they stands under our colors
