Kirishima's POV

"Midorya, will you be mine?"

The green-haired boy let a dramatic silence spread through the room. That is, it was dramatic silence until Mina started jumping up and down and squealing in joy. The silence was gone after that, so he skipped the dramatics and answered.

"Of course. I have no reason to say no." He then reached up, wrapped his arms around my neck and kissed me. I let him.

Suddenly, everything was upside down and it was so loud. Everyone was talking, there were noises from every direction. Before my eyes could register what was going on, Bakugou was in front of Midorya, saying,

"If you break his heart, I'll break your neck."

Everything was so loud, I couldn't deal with it. I put my hands over my ears, trying to block out the noise. My newly declared boyfriend noticed my pain, and cried out "Stop!"

Everyone stopped and looked at him. "I kinda sorta walloped Kiri in the head, and his injury is making him sensitive to sound and light. Have your fun, it is a Saturday night, but I'm taking Kirishima away from all the noise. See ya guys Monday!" With that, we walked out of the commons, away from the people wishing us goodbye. Heading up to our dorm, I looked at the green-haired boy and smiled. He noticed and, instead of looking back, rolled his eyes and tugged on my sleeve, pulling me along.

*Time skip*

When we had gotten back, we decided to curl up on the couch and watch a movie. I was sitting on the end of the couch, and Midorya was resting his head in my lap whilst I hung my arm around him. We were watching Harry Potter.

I gazed down at the boy curled up with me. He had fallen asleep a while ago. I didn't dare move though. I didn't want to wake him. He deserved his rest after all the crazy events that went down.

I sighed and closed my eyes.

My Izuku, you may be blissfully oblivious to what you did tonight, but I'm not. You managed to utterly destroy me, and then piece the broken bits back together. You pushed me past the point of no return, and then somehow got me back. You aren't aware, but tonight you did something truly beautiful. I will be forever indebted to you because you've helped me to find the love of my life, and start fixing myself.

402 words.

Welp, that's the end. I hope it made sense, and I hope you liked it. I much enjoyed writing it. I'll have to write a second one sometime. It was a short story, but a good one. At least, I hope it was a good story. Thanks for reading all the way to the end, and if you liked it, watch out for a sequel. I'll call it "Fixing us." Yeah, that's a good name. Aw, dammit. I shouldn't have named it. Now I have ideas. Anyway, I hope you're having a good day.
