I got dressed, grabbed my bag and suitcase. I put on my combat boots and went outside. I met up with the two brothers and Jina and Sana.
"Let's go, we're all meeting at the train station." We all walked to the train station, at some point Jaeyi rolled my suitcase and took hold of my hand,
"Ooh! Is Jaeyi and Chaeyoung, dating?" That was the first thing Bora said when we got there and waited for the train.
"Yeah, but shhh." Jaeyi put a finger in front of his mouth, I looked away and blushed, "Chaeyoung is blushing!! You guys are so cute together!" Bora cooed as we got onto the train,
The whole journey to the countryside was chaotic. That's all I'm saying.
We started walking to the location, again Jaeyi being the gentlemen he is. He carried my suitcase with him while I took some photos of the fields, Jina and Sana both ran to their grandma when we arrived. She welcomed us with hugs and showed us inside to put our stuff away, she disappeared into the kitchen to prepare us lunch.
"Grandma, why did you cook so much?" I sat between Bora and Jina looking at the dishes Grandma prepared,
"I couldn't make much, but I hope you enjoy the food!"
"I haven't had a homecooked meal in a long time!" I beamed at the food, "I went easy on the cooking since it's only the first day."
"This is going easy?!" Minam pointed, even he is surprised, "It may seem a lot. But I only put together a few ingredients and made a ton of rice. I totally went easy on the cooking. Eat up!"
"Thank you for the food." I started eating, "Wah, I've never seen Chaeyoung this happy when she's eating." Shin-ae pointed out, I ignored it and continued to eat. I saw two boys approached us,
"Grandma," They all collectively looked over at the pair, I noticed how skinny they were, especially the older one,
"Look who we have here! What brings you here?" Grandma went over to the two, I was wiping away the grease from the corners of my mouth,
"We borrowed this before, I'm here to return this." He pulled a wooden bowl and gave it to her, "My goodness, you could've taken your time with this. You guys haven't eaten yet, right?" They both shook their heads, "Okay, come and eat!" She invited them over, Bora and Minam scooted over to the side I followed along. The youngest of the pair sat down next to me,
"These two are brothers, they live across from me. The older one is Geonwoo and the younger one is Hyunwoo. Wait, Geonwoo, aren't you in your first year of high school?" He nodded, oh he's the same age as us then, aside from Sana.
"That's right. Then you're the same age as my oldest granddaughter, Jina. The two of you should get close!" She's trying to match them up, I giggled a little bit at the thought.
