I sludged my way back to the apartment, a lady with a suitcase was just staring at the building when she saw me,
"Hello! Let me help you!" I nodded and handed her one of the bags,
"Are you moving in?" I asked her as we were in the elevator, "No, I'm surprising my two sons. They're around your age."
"Are you Jaeyi and Robin's mum?" She smiled and nodded, "Yes! Are you friends with them?"
"Yes. We all go to the same school. There's another girl that's our age. She's friends with us too!"
"Oh! You should come over!"
"Sure, let me put away my bags and I'll come down." She nodded and I exited the elevator to go to my apartment. I put the items away and freshened up,
I changed out of my clothes and into a more presentable style. I am, after all, meeting my boyfriend's mother. I want to look my best. If you're wondering, my sling is off now and my wrist is doing better but it's still sore.

I grabbed my phone and went down to the apartment, I jumped on Jaeyi when he was putting in the code,
"Hey, Chaeyounggi!! You look so pretty, what for?" I smiled and pushed him inside, he noticed that his mum's shoes were there and went inside, "Surprise!" The lady from before emerged from the side hoping to catch her son by surprise, which she succeeded,
"Mum! When did you get here?" A giant smile crawled onto Jaeyi's face, "Not too long ago, I met with your friend here too!" Jaeyi blushed and scratched the back of his neck,
"She's not my friend," he paused for a bit Miss Seo looked confused, "Eh, you're not friends?"
Jaeyi held my hands, "She's my girlfriend," I smiled at my dorky boyfriend and bowed at his mum, "Hello, I'm Hwan Chaeyoung. Nice to meet you!"
"How long has it been! I missed you, my son. I've been waiting for you, my future daughter-in-law!" She stretched her arms and brought both of us in a hug, "Please bear me grand-babies." she whispered into my ear before pulling away.
"You really surprised me. You should have contacted me, I would have at least picked you up." Jaeyi's hand snaked around my shoulders while he conversed with his mother, "I didn't on purpose so I could surprise you. And I was curious how you boys were living too." We all collectively looked around, it was quite clean during the times we would come over.
"Ah, the house is a little dirty, isn't it? We were going to clean after our test today." I haven't been at school for the past few days, they allowed me to take the test early so I can start preparing for my transition to the States.
