Chapter 1 ~ Heart of gold

I listened to Panic! At The Disco - Victorious through my phone with my headphones in so that I couldn't hear my brother's loud, Irish road rage whenever someone cut him off, he's too funny. I fell asleep listening to Brendan Urie's voice, I know it sounds weird but hearing his voice always puts me to sleep. I wish I meet someone like that someday.

I wake up to my brother tapping me on the shoulder, "(Y/N)!, we're here!" I take my headphones out as no music was playing. As I was grabbing the last box of mine, which was full of my recording things (my camera, my computer), I tripped and almost dropped it but a young man caught it just before it hit the ground, "hey! I guess I came just in time, huh?" The young man stated. He had lovely black hair. And eyes you could lose yourself in. The colour of them, dark chocolate, absolutely handsome to the bone. "I just wanted to say hi to my new neighbours!" I smiled at his claim, it made me feel very welcome in our new neighbourhood.

My brother walked outside to see if I needed help but noticed I already had gotten it. He saw me talking to the sweet young man. "Oh, hello!" My new friend smiled, "Hello, laddie!" Jack replied to him, "What's your name?" My brother asked the young man, "I'm Nate! Welcome to LA, folks!".

I smiled and he smiled back. That's when I noticed his dimples, those sweet dimples. "I like your outfit,..." He had a questioning look on his face. "Thank you ever so much and it's (Y/N) by the way". I replied to his compliment. "That's a... cute name". I blushed, how sweet of Nate! "Maybe you can visit my brother and I sometime?" I asked him, "Sounds cool, maybe tomorrow, 1:00pm?" He replied to my request "Awesome! See you tomorrow, Nate!", I shouted as he turned to walk back to his house just a few houses away, he turned back around to look at me, "See ya!" He winked at me just as he said his goodbyes, my heart skipped a few beats at that moment. I blushed and he noticed. He didn't want me too, but I noticed him blush too.
