"Daddy's gotten pretty awful again, hasn't he?" Jasmine whispered under her breath to Monet, focusing her camera outside of the plane window as she spoke. Today they were finally getting out of their homes and school and they were all heading to New York for Jasmine's TV interview. Since the interview would take place on Jasmine and Monet's birthday, it didn't take much work to convince Melissa to let Mark and Monet tag along with them. That's why, for the first time in their lives, Mark and Monet were on an airplane. This was also the first time that they would be a part of Jasmine's vlog for a legit reason and not just because she wanted them to say hi.

At this point, Jasmine wasn't just an actress, she was also a YouTuber. She wasn't the best in the business, not by a long shot, and most of her following was because of her career as an actress, but she didn't seem to care. She had started it when she started acting, just to give her something to do, and by the time she got serious about it, she had a good fanbase going. And so, the fourth-grader was allowed to keep her channel, though her aunt helped her run it. Now, she was getting just as noticed from that as she was from her movie.

"Yeah, but I'm okay. At least you're not home anymore to get into trouble," Monet sighed, watching her hand her camera. She ran her hand through her now short hair and leaned against the seat. "You're not keeping that part in the video, are you?" Jasmine quickly shook her head and looked back at Monet with a small smile.

"Obviously not. I was planning on taking the voices off of this part of the video anyway," Jasmine replied. She turned back to the window and checked the video through her camera before shutting it off and turning back to face Monet again. "How come you cut your hair? I mean, it looks good and all but I thought you wanted it long like mine?" Monet shook her head quickly, fidgeting with her hands.

"People like to pull at it. I don't like it long if people are gonna pull it," Monet admitted, shrugging her shoulders. It wasn't the full truth, of course. She couldn't bring herself to explain the full truth, no matter how much she trusted Jasmine. If Jasmine were to find out, she would never look at Monet the same way. She couldn't let that happen. Jasmine just sighed and reached out and brushed back a few loose strands of hair out of Monet's face that the new pixie cut couldn't hide.

"Well, I think it's still pretty. Even if you still have you stupid-looking bangs," Jasmine teased, giggling slightly. She flashed Monet a smile and placed her camera back into her bag again. Monet smiled a bit and shrugged her shoulders.

"Well, Miss Rebecca said that she couldn't fix those even if I wanted her too," Monet laughed, pulling her knees up to her chest. Ever since she had decided that she was going to be a hairdresser, after being crushed when she found out knights didn't exist anymore, Monet had decided to practice on whatever she could get her hands on. That meant all her old dolls and herself. So, her bangs were her pride and joy.

"Well, I think that they add some personality to you," Jasmine shrugged, digging through her bag to find something to do. She didn't have much with her in the bag so there wasn't much for her to do.

"Personality's a pretty big word," Monet pointed out. Jasmine giggled and turned to face her, shaking her head slightly.

"You know I like big words a lot, Miss Knight. Personality is a noun that means all of the things that make you, you and me, me," Jasmine explained, kicking her feet back and forth in her seat as she pulled out a coloring book. She thought about editing her video now btu she figured she would much rather do that back in the hotel room. She grabbed some colored pencils and held one out to Monet to color with her as well.

"What do you mean by that?" Monet asked, tilting her head as she grabbed the colored pencil to color with Jasmine.

"Oh, I mean like how you're quiet and don't talk a lot and how I'm loud and like attention. Being quiet is your personality and being loud is mine," Jasmine continued to explain. "And like how Mark makes sure that we don't fight. That's his personality." She didn't look up from her coloring book, shading in the bear on the page, so clearly this topic was easy for her to talk about. Monet shouldn't have been surprised. Jasmine was the smartest out of all of them.
