Katie POV
========

I set down the last scared examinee and let out a strained breath.

I was exhausted.

After finding out that the giant robot was the zero pointer, I couldn't help but worry for my fellow examinees. They had frozen at the sight of me at the begging for of the exam, just from seeing a quirk they didn't understand. So I had feared many would freeze at the sight of the giant robot.

Before I could even think about how it would affect my point total, I ran towards the first person I saw and dragged them away. My body had run forward before I could even think.

Now feeling the effects of my heroic stunt, I was tired and dizzy. To maximize the number of people I saved and minimize my quirk usage; I had used small bursts of my quirk. These small bursts wreaked havoc on my vestibular sense.

It was simple physics. My dad had explained it to me at some point, saying that it was Newton's first law of motion:

"An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force."

My time stop was that unbalanced force, so if I start and stop my time stop while in motion, it is like I am performing a hard stop at a stop sign every time I use my quirk.

This is why, when in little bursts, I get all messed up.

Ignoring the spinning world around me, due to my quirks drawbacks, I tried to go off and find some more targets to bolster my score. But as soon as I tried to run again, Mic could be heard over the speaker,

"TIMES UUUUP."

My heart sank. In a matter of ten minutes, I had only gotten 48 points. I had no Idea if this was enough to pass the exam, and the thought made me a little sick. It seemed like a lot, about 6 points per minute of the actual 8 minutes that I spent not saving people. But, to be honest, I had no previous knowledge to base the amount of points off of.

To make matters even worse, I had no idea where my staff was. I had to have dropped it at some point when I was moving people like a taxi.

I couldn't believe that I had wasted a good chunk of time trying to be a hero when I should have focused on my score.

Dropping my head, I made my way through battle center A, until I had passed the exit doors.

My small bag was in a locker right outside the center doors, so I made my way to the locker and grabbed all of my stuff.

"OI Scar face " I heard over my shoulder, causing me to jump a bit.

I sighed; it was obviously the blonde kid, who I really didn't want to have to deal with right now.

Whether I wanted too or not though, I knew something had to be done in order for this prick to lay off. It would be hard running away from him in my dizzy state, so I turned around, and my eyes widened.

He was holding my damn staff.

I reached out to grab it, but he had lifted it out of my reach. Because Apparently, the guy had decided that he was going to act like they were in grade school.

"Dude," I deadpanned, "seriously, can I have that back, it was a gift."

"You should keep better track of your shit then," he barked, surprisingly shoving the staff back into my hands. Reluctantly, I went to make a gesture of thanks, but the boy had interrupted me before I could,

"you look like shit," he smirked. "I was going to beat your ass before I gave you that damn crutch back."

I winced in pain, figuring he was going to want to fight me in revenge for the pranks I had pulled.
