"Nope, absolutely clean off the internet." Liza slumps back into her office chair, hazily moving the cursor through different tabs of her research. Auroras face drops in disappointment.

"How could a whole religion be completely unheard of? I thought they would have at least one weird article on it."

"It could be that its within family traditions"

"like a self made cult?"

"i suppose." Liza shuts off her laptop, signalling Aurora to stand straight again " whatever it is, it's not strong enough to hold in court as a motive."

"Plus there's hardly any evidence to support it, and they need a lot of convincing to charge on motive alone. Clancys going to be pissed." Aurora mumbles, pacing around Lizas tiny office.

"Clancy shouldn't have jumped straight to cultist behaviour on the first chance she saw it" Liza huffs her breath " it's not always the big idea."

"But you don't murder your mother and perform ritualistic behaviour without a motive, for no mans purpose."

"When you're batshit crazy you do." Liza quickly stuffs her laptop in her leather bag, "And those people murder."

Liza attaches the last clip on her book bag before locking eyes with her coworker.

" I know you love Clancy and you want to see her succeed, your not the first. I was her little partner too, running around, acting like the law holds like monopoly money. I get it," Liza almost lets aurora speak before swiftly closing the office door, Aurora is quick to catch up to her in outside in the hallway.

Liza continues "But Clancy is in over her head, she doesn't get that LA isn't as filled with conspiracy and gangs like it used too. Its full of lousy rich whores and sad drug addicts. This case is a depressed pill addict who kills his rich mom in a blackout and got creative."

"The fuck is wrong with you." Aurora drops her hands drastically, stopping in her tracks, "for someone in the business that long you'd know how easily that could of got your ass fired or better yet-"

" Really? Fired? Take a long, good and hard look at your partners history and even try to convince LAPD to evict me. Id gladly pay to watch that horseshit."
