I ran my hands on his face. All the years of pain and misery seemed to fade. I know understood the dream. My memory of Andrew from centuries back seemed to gush through my veins.
I loved him. My feelings for him had come alive since the day I first laid my eyes on him in the woods but I was not able to understand it. All the times we had spent together came rushing to me. The laughter, the kiss, all the good times...
Now I felt his presence in my dream too. The strange kiss I had felt after waking up from the nightmare.
All I recalled was memories of Andrew. The moments of us together and how we grew apart. Everything else and everyone else still felt a blur. But all I cared was my immense love for him...
The necklace now sat on the floor like any normal stone...
Tears rolled down my cheeks.
"I love you Andrew," I inhaled deeply gazing him with teary eyes.
"I love you too Ethel," he leaned forward with grief and tears in his eyes.
"I wont be able to sustain the fact of ever losing you again. My love for you is so infinite that I can wait for another hundreds and thousands of years just to be with you," Andrew's eyes was welling up with each words.
He held my hand and lowered his lips on mine and kissed passionately. I felt myself resurrecting... the thirst to feel his lips on mine from centuries seemed to be quenched finally.
"As much as I would love to be together again but I cant afford to be the reason for you being ruthlessly killed again. I love you so much".
What do you mean? I spoke with a little hesitation.
"Am sorry Ethel, but I have to do this. Am so sorry".
Andrew what!
"I promise you we will be together but right now there is so much danger to your life. It will be for your best if you don't know any of this. The more you know. The more they feel your energy and... and..." he said letting out a deep sigh.
"And what... we promised to be together forever," I looked at him with the intense of never letting go of him. I kissed his hands and brushed my face along.
"I don't want you to wake the cave yet or they will come to destroy you", Andrew's voice was weakening.
"Forgive me Ethel.I cant lose you again. I have to do this".
Andrew leaned and gave a brief kiss on my lips.
I looked at him with questions in my eyes and still sprawled on his lap.
Andrew raised his hand and placed on my forehead...
Everything went black...

Mom and Dad were at the front yard. I tiptoed in my pajamas with drowsiness in my eyes. It was 8am."Good morning my darling", Dad said smiling with a coffee mug on his hand.
Mom smiled warmly at me.
"I will quickly make an omelette for you honey", she said getting up.
She leaned to give a kiss on my forehead and hugged me.
I stood blankly staring at them.
How am I home. The last I recall is me with Jason by the seaside! I thought.
"Mom. Dad. How did I come home," i said
Mom and dad exchanged surprised glances.
"Honey, dont you remember you came home late evening yesterday and straight headed to bed. You said you were so tired and needed some sleep badly," Mom said with a surprised look.
I stared in disbelief. I didn't remember anything apart from the seaside when the weather had changed abruptly and Jason had disappeared.
I rushed upstairs to my bedroom. My phone was sitting on the top of the drawer. I dialled Jason's number and waited with the thumping of my heartbeat.
After four rings he picked.
"Hello Kiara. Thought you forgot me," Jason spoke with flirtiness in his tone.
"Jason, where did you disappear suddenly from the seaside," I said without even greeting.
"Well I dissapeared or you disappeared"! Jason said
"What do you mean".
"You disappeared all of a sudden and I was waiting there for an hour for you".
"What"!
"Am glad you reached home safely. You're phone was unreachable too".
"Wait a second. You mean to tell me I just disappeared and you didn't even try looking for me" I said sharply.
"Well the weather had surprisingly changed and it was so hard to see what's going on for several minutes! Neither was I able to hear you. It was like a sand storm in there. When it cleared I cant even see a trace of you. When I turned on the cars headlight I just noticed footsteps so I thought you might have escaped the storm and got a cab to go".
"Wow, that's the story you feeding me from your end" I said meanly.
"What do you want to say. You got loads of people in this town who knows you. I am a newbie. So definitely anyone can give you a ride back home too. It's like you abandoned me there alone," Jason said rather harshly.
I inhaled deeply.
"Okay. That's alright"
"And if you remember you got a class to attend at 10am", Jason said politely.
"I will be there soon".
I hanged up the call.
I did not even had the slightest clue for how I ended up home!
I was exasperated. The nightmare wasnt enough to ruin my life and now this as if am losing my mentality!
I sighed and sat on my bed staring at the floor.
Mom knocked at the door twice and entered.
She held out a cup of steaming coffee to me.
"Honey, I think you are a bit tired. Probably all those late nights you are up studying. You need to relax up a bit".
I sighed again.
She hugged me gently touching my back.
"I love you honey. Now get ready you got a class soon"
She smiled and made to the door.
"Oh well yeah. Its Sarah's birthday in four days. Hope you had bought her a gift yet"
It than hit me that I had got Sarah's gift yesterday.
"Yes Mom"
She smiled closing the door behind as she left.
If I still have not lost it than Sarah's gift should be in my bag.
My scanned through my room for my bag. It was lying at the study table. I remembered placing it there. I picked it up hastily and ran my hand in the bag. There wasn't any necklace to be sighted! I quickly ran my gaze on the floor and across the room. The necklace was nowhere to be found!
"Did I even buy it"? I shivered a little. Or am I losing my sanity...
