(A/N) I changed the day to Friday in the last Chapter, because that's how it would've worked out, given Courtney was in the hospital with Kari for two days. Just wanted to let you know in case you didn't see the alteration. Anyways, enjoy reading!

Damien's POV

Courtney and I had been sat on the Smosh games couch for 25 minutes. Her sobbing, loudly, into her hands and me crying, silently, staring off into the distance. We both looked absolutely chaotic. Her hair stuck up at all angles and my shirt was wet with tears, mainly my own. I felt so bad for her. She's like my little sister, I hate seeing her like this. After a few minutes of intense breathing, I composed myself and turned my body to face Courtney.

"Ok, we need a game plan, and freaking fast," I say. She shoots me a look of anger, that then turns to guilt and then confusion.

"A game plan is useless, he's probably already on his flight," she says, dropping her head.

"Hey! Don't think like that. You are my baby sister and you're in love with my best friend and god dammit does he love you back," I say, almost yelling, grabbing her shoulder and shaking her lightly," His text came through, what, 45 minutes ago, he's probably still at the airport. If we hustle we can get there in 20 minutes, 25 tops!"

"I guess, can we tell the squad?" she asked.

"Of course," I say smiling, pulling myself off the couch and starting to head to the door.

"Hey, Damimen?" Courtney calls me back, I turn around.

"Yeh?"

"Thank you so much..." she whispers, almost bursting into tears again.

"It's what big brother's are here for," I smile, grabbing her arm and pulling her in for a hug. We reach the squad room a few minutes later and everyone immediately turns to stare at Courtney and I. She takes a step forward, takes a deep breath and starts talking.

"Shayne has left for the airport, and he's going to Virginia. Shayne sent Damien a text around 45 minutes ago saying he's leaving so we're hoping he hasn't boarded his plane yet and we're going to the airport now." Courtney explained, surprisingly calm, but I could hear the vulnerability and hurt in her voice. Olivia took a step towards Courtney, but she started to speak again.

"Earlier on today, I went into his apartment. I've had a key to his place since I've met him, it was his only spare. I gave him mine and it's they key he wears around his neck," I gasped at this, not knowing he had given her a spare key, but smiling because I knew why. She continued to talk ;

"His place was a mess. There was beer bottles all over and one was smashed on the floor, with blood on it. Also I took one of his hoodies, if you couldn't already tell," Courtney said, gesturing to her sweatshirt. I knew about the pencil sharpener, Anthony had texted me about it, so sadly the beer bottles didn't really surprise me.

"We're leaving now, come with if you want." Courtney finished, turning to me uneasily with watery eyes. Olivia, Noah, Keith, Ian and Anthony stepped forward. I could tell everyone else in the room wanted to go, but they had an office to run. Courtney and I both smiled at our group of friends. We waved goodbye to everyone in the office and left. We got to the parking lot and Courtney, Olivia and I hopped into Court's Fiat and Keith, Noah, Anthony and Ian got into Anthony's car. We set off, me bracing myself for the airport.

Courtney's POV

We started driving and after five minutes of unbearable silence, Olivia spoke up.

"So, what are you gonna say if he's there?" she asked.

"I don't know, Liv, I really don't know," I replied. And we descended into silence again. Olivia flicked on the radio. 'Before You Go' by Lewis Capaldi was playing. I listened to lyrics carefully.
