Your P.O.V

Most people were leaving the castle for Christmas to spend time with their families. However, my mum was going away to New York for Christmas and I have too much work to do, so I decided to stay in Hogwarts for Christmas. As for Draco, his parents were busy doing work. I have never asked what his parents work as because whenever someone tried, he would go quiet.

Draco and I sat in the Grand Hall, waiting to say goodbye to our friends leaving. It was only going to be me, Draco, Crabbe and Goyle left in the common room, everyone else was leaving to go spend time with their families. We said goodbye to all our friends as we watched them disappear from sight. However, I did notice Draco looking sad still.

"Do you want to talk about?" I asked. He nodded in response.

"I've never experienced what Christmas is like with a family. I would always be told to go to my nans' house and I would never see my parents on Christmas day". He looked solemnly at the ground. I felt words wouldn't be enough to make him feel better.

Dracos P.O.V

The thought of never spending a Christmas with my family brought my mood down, only to feel a warmth inside of me light up like a fire when (Y/N) hugged me.

"We will spend Christmas together and have the most exciting time. I promise" she said looking at me with a big cheesy grin.

"You're so cute. No wonder I fell in love with you. And besides, you're my family now. I don't ever want to lose you". We quickly separated before any teachers spotted us, yet we didn't realise someones burning eyes were staring right at us.

NIGHT OF CHRISTMAS EVE

This Christmas has been a memorable Christmas that I will cherish forever. Me and (Y/N) baked gingerbread men and also went ice skating. We kept falling on the ice, we were so bad at it. I was constantly laughing none stop. Her laugh would make me blush and smile as though as was a little boy receiving my first toy. I ended up attacking her with the flour whilst making the gingerbread men. She got her revenge, covering me in it too. We looked whiter than Nearly Headless Nick. The good thing is they ended up tasting delicious. The best thing was I got to spend the whole day with my princess.

Now we were sat in the common room in front of the fire, Crabbe and Goyle had left us to have some alone time. We sat watching the Muppets Christmas Carol, her choice of film, my arm around her shoulder, pulling her close to me. We had a blanket over us too. It was perfect.

I look down to see her sleeping on my shoulder. "I love your princess". I slowly stood up trying not to wake her and after switching the TV off, lifted her up bridal style towards her room.

I gently laid her down on the bed, moving the hair out of her eyes as she slept. I took one last glance at her beauty before turning around to leave. Suddenly, I feel her grab my arm. I turn round to see her looking at me, her eyes sparkling as the moon reflected in them from the window.

"Will you stay with me tonight?"

"I'll stay with you forever". I slowly climbed into her bed, pulling her in for a cuddle.

"Goodnight Draco"

"Goodnight Princess" I kissed her forehead before falling asleep, her head on my chest.

THE NEXT MORNING

It was Christmas morning. I woke up before (Y/N). She looked so cute as she slept. I gently moved the strands of her out of her face, cupping her cheeks with one of my hands. I rubbed my thumb along her cheek admiring her her beauty. Eventually, she began to open her eyes.

"Morning" she whispered sweetly, locking eyes with me, half asleep, half awake. "Merry Christmas".

"Merry Christmas Princess" I pulled her in for a tighter hug, kissing her soft, warm lips. How was I so lucky to meet you...
