Lia trudged through the sand, out of all of the group, she was doing the best. She had brought a bottle of water into the other dimension, so they had a meager supply. Soon, the bottle would run out, and they would die of dehydration. She knew that they needed a new supply, and fast. She glanced up at the sun, they had about 3 more hours of daylight, time to build the huts.
She could'nt even grumble about her boots, because her boots from the real world had fused with her skin, as had everyone else's clothes. So all she felt was the brushing of sand on her feet and the burning of her mouth as it begged for water, but recieved none. Mariah fell face-first into the sand, "I can't do this any moOOOOORE!!' She dissapeared, replace by a hole in the sand, and Lia knew what that ment. "EVERYBODY RUN!" And that is just what they did. Everybody bolted, Zach in the front screamin that he was to young to die, and then it began. What had started as a 1-block hole spread to the blocks beside that one, and from them to the blocks beside them, until there was a massive sinkhole gaining on the heels of the party. First Mariah, then Jayden, then Michael, until everyone but Lia had been sucked up. Then she was gone, falling, falling, *thud*.
Lia bolted upright as a gentle hand touched her head, and the figure sank backwards, "Ow!" The voice sounded familiar, she looked more closely at the shadow, just as it emerged. White tee, grey pants, brown hair, and a pair of green headphones signified him as Deadlox. "Hello, and welcome to my house, a.k.a, the underground Oasis" , he said in a cheerful tone. Lia fainted again.
