Angelic Tragedy

Chapter 4

Zia's POV

We arrived at Plex mall after alot of minutes. I went off the car excitedly and pulled Sage along. Sebb said he's going to park the car and catch up. So we went ahead.

Inside the Plex Mall were dozens and dozens of stores that sold almost anything you could ask for. Heaven is what I'd call this place.

I walked quickly around the mall to see the items. And I went inside a store named- Forever 22. Sage followed, we went inside and I started to pick up any clothing I took interest in to fit while Sage sat down on an empty couch and played with his phone.

After I gathered and fitted alot of items which included shoes, hats, bracelets, rings, necklaces etc. I asked sage for his opinion on every clothing I tried and all he ever replied was 'looks okay'. Well whatever.

I asked for money but instead he gave me a gold card,

I asked help from the clerks around the shop to bring the clothes to the counter. The cashier even looked at me with a strange face maybe saying 'isn't this too much?' But who cares? Atleast I'm helping them sell :>

"That would be $$$" is that too much??

I handed her the card and she swiped it. While the clerks were busy stuffing the things I bought (lol) into their biggest paper bags I went to Sage.

"Sorry, did you wait long?" I asked. Well I think I didn't take that much time though.

" 'wait long' is an understatement. You took forever!" He looked pissed. Oa much?

I checked the clock inside the store. And it seems I'm way passed my allotted time. It took us quite some time to get here, too much time to pick clothes from the shacks and mannequins, and too much time to fit all of them. It took me 5 hours, 25 minutes and 43 seconds and counting to shop around.

I'm in trouble.

"Sorry. I'm really sorry, I got excited about shopping for the first time in this world and got carried away." I said apologetically.

"Just hurry up and let's go. I am tired."

"Uh you can go ahead of me. With Sebb. I'll just have these delivered and I can fly back." I suggested trying to ease up his mood.

And without a second thought he took up my suggestion. Pff who cares. He went out and asked for Sebb to bring him home, while I'm left here with too much baggage to bring.

And I even have to fly back. I must be so stupid. I can't fly for more than 30 minutes straight.

I told the clerks to just deliver it to the address I wrote on a paper and said that I'd pay if they needed fees, not my money tho. The owner said that he was thankful for the bulk purchase and said it wasn't needed to pay for the fee.

I went out and started to fly, if running has sprints, so does flying. I flew as quickly as I can seeing that it's already dark and I hate the dark.

I flew and flew and flew slowly decreasing my speed, getting tired. I was 3/4'ly near my destination when it started to rain. And flying in rain is quite heavy like it is with birds.

I landed and took refuge in a shed. A minute or two passed by and the rain was just getting worse.

Was I going to die here in a tiny shed? Maybe I'm exaggerating but really, it's cold.

Then a car that I recognized passed by and stopped in front of me, lowering the drivers window.

I saw Sebb and Sage.

"Get in you." Sage said

Too tired and cold that I didn't even bother to reply, I went in the back seat.

"You could've just took back what you had suggested."

"You looked pissed and I hate being a burden."

"I have a conscience too you know. And how am I supposed to explain, if ever my parents notice, why my credit card is full of bills which are certainly not mine."

"That's your problem. You agreed to it anyway."

An awkward moment of silence surrounded us as we arrived. We went off and went up.

"Hatchoooo" I sneezed and even had snot coming out.

"You should've avoided getting wet" he said

And whose fault is this?! Maybe I'm partly at fault too.

And much to my surprise I felt a warm cloth wrapping around me as we went in the elevator. It was Sage's sweater.

"Hurry up and take a quick warm bath. You'll catch a cold and it'll be troublesome." He said and went in his room.
