Ever since I was 13, my life has never been better. Since I met him. My name is Zelda, and this is the story of my life in Jamaa.
When the Shamans of Jamaa found our isolated civilization in the depths of the dark wood, they said that now was the time to return home from where we came from, Jamaa. My dad, however, didn't make the journey. Our village medic, Luke, told us that he had caught an illness, and a terrible one at that. He was growing old, and Luke believed that he wouldn't survive. But we couldn't leave him for dead in an abandoned village, Zios knows what would've gotten to him before or after death. We brought my dad along, but halfway to Jamaa, the illness destroyed him... But that's not the point, sorry. I got pretty ahead of myself, didn't I?
...Anyway, we arrived in Jamaa after about a week of traveling from our village in isolation, to a country of friendship and peace surrounded by the many species that had come before us foxes had; wolves, pandas, tigers, rabbits, and the others that I'm forgetting about.
When we entered, there was a huge stone gazebo-looking thing above us, and in the center of the area was a life-sized and colored statue of Mira, the Sky Mother. The statue looked incredibly realistic, I almost thought it was actually Her. Suddenly, six large and glowing orbs appeared before us, each one completely unique. Out of the orbs appeared one different animal for each; a panda, a koala, a monkey, a tiger, a rabbit, and the most handsome wolf I'd ever see in my life. "Welcome back to Jamaa, everybody!" The rabbit squealed, jumping around. Her fur was shades of pink, purple and white, kind of like me except without the pink. "You've missed a lot everyone. But soon, every animal will be back home and know everything that has happened before their arrival." Stated the tiger. Then each of the animals introduced themselves. The panda with the flower-looking staff and leather shirt with too many pockets was Liza, the Panda Shaman. The koala with the bird on his staff and the old elfish hat was Cosmo, the Koala Shaman. The shaggy-haired monkey with hairless eyebrows was Graham, the Monkey Shaman. The scary tiger with armor and a bunch of rings was Sir Gilbert, the Tiger Shaman. The little pink and purple rabbit with patched socks on her ears and bell earrings was Peck, the Rabbit Shaman. And that incredibly attractive blue wolf with the chain necklace and torn-up cape was Greely (Wow, Greely, how could he become even cooler?), the Wolf Shaman. I lowered my head to hide from everyone that my face was reddening. Luke, the guy I mentioned before, tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Hey, what's wrong? Overwhelmed?" I merely shook my head. "I can't explain it. It's personal."
