Chapter 9: New York City III

Sabrina's POV
New York City.
18th January,2018.

I slayed a forever 21 black jumpsuit that had a black bow by the waist,a DILA KS sky blue leather jacket,sky blue vans and a sky blue purse. Today was the launching of the
'Together for good'. Also a business conference.

Here is what's gonna happen, the top ten business Men/women are going to give their biography, not in brief. Each person is given an hour to complete his biography, and his journey to success.

I doubt am in the top 10 list. So I didn't even bother to right and memorise some words or something. Am basically here because I wanted to learn more. And because I was invited.

Along me was Mimi. She's always with me. I don't consider her as my Assistant but my really close friend. I hate it why she tries to be formal.
I always ask her this question, she has her own Make-up brand, she's the founder. She owns a Makeup academy. Which is really popular. But she still decides to be my Personal Assistant. Why? Just why? She always tells me that working with me is so much better than any Goddamn job out there!

Well I love her so much!

We arrived at the Conference Hall. So many cars were parked outside... mostly black cars. I looked up, seeing so many business Men and Women.

We got our seats, it was 7:56am and the conference was commencing by 8:00am. Just four minutes to go. Am really excited, even though I won't be part of the top 10. At least I'll learn so many things today. Each person saying their biography.

The third business man, which was Roger Styles.

I just found out that Saif was suppose to be part of this conference but he cancelled, saying it was gonna be lameeee!!!

Also 2 other Men cancelled.

I'll say the truth, the first seven's biography and speech was very interesting. But the third guy over hear, is just tryna kill me with boredom.

"Mimi, did you bring the Kit Kats?" I asked her. I was in the mood for chocolate.

"Yeah, here you go" she handed it over to me.

"Thanks" I threw it in my mouth munching as quiet as I could.

I was getting really tired and it was already 2:57pm. Just 2 more persons to go then the launching will commence.

I needed fresh air! I stood up about to leave when Mimi asked

"We're you going?"

"I need fresh air" she rolled her eyes before nodding. The guy was done, then the second person was about to be called out. I was halfway to the door when I heard....

"The second person on the list is.... well a woman. We all know and love her! Ladies and Gentlemen....we welcome
Sabrina Adila khaleed!"

I heard hands echoing loudly, I heard people squealing loudly,I could swear my heart stopped beating for a second!

That's me! How is it possible!

Everyone's eye was on me.

To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I walked towards the stage... collecting the microphone.

"Hello NYC!" I yelled laughing. The audience responded by shouting,some were applauding.

" To say, am shocked would be an understatement! I never thought that I'll even make it to the top 10. Thank you so much everyone!"

"Well....Am Sabrina Adila khaleed but it's actually Sabrina Mahir,but I don't like using that. So am popularly known as S.A.K.
I think you guys know that.
I was born in LA, California on the 1st of February 1998. I lived in LA for 10 good years before going back to my homeland.
