REMASTEREDThere was no denying it, not one bit.
The boy who sat in the school's broken down and abandoned garden was special, he was the missing piece to my life.
he was the one who would change my life forever and there was no denying that.
"Soulmate." I muttered out watching him.
he had his head in a book and his headphones in his ears. Though it was almost summers whether he wore a thick blue sweater and black skinny jeans. His hazel eyes scanned his book and he held a tissue in his left hand to wipe away a tear that had been falling.
"What did you say?" The blonde tour guide looked at me with an odd face. "That's Zach Herron, I would keep away from him if I were you."
And there was the first warning, not that I was surprised. Maybe if I were lucky we would be a special case of forbidden lovers who would be torn apart by destiny. Or perhaps I was getting way ahead of myself before he even knew I existed. "Why is that?"
"Just trust me, Zach Herron can do no good." He said walking away to lead me through the rest of the tour. I stayed back for awhile to look at the boy with rosy pink cheeks and a invested look on his face. He was absolutely breathtaking.
"So this is Christina, Jonah and Daniel." He pointed at the three of them and approached the table. The girl was the first to recognize my presence and she stood up holding out her hand. "I'm Christina, it's nice to meet you." He greeted and I shook her small hand. "I'm Jack."
"Corbyn couldn't stop texting how excited he was to have a new friend." She giggled and I noticed Corbyns face turn red, he looked away shyly but nodded. "I don't make many." He said nervously and I nodded.
"Well I'm glad you can call me a friend already." I replied patting Corbyns shoulder.I looked over at the two boys who sat at the table wrestling. One had the other in a head lock and there was smiles on their faces as they yelled insult after insult at one another. "They love to play fight." Christina chimes in seeing that I was watching the two. "Fuck you!" The boy who wore a green hoodie yelled, I noticed he had a gap in his teeth. They stopped hitting each other for a moment and they kissed.
I felt my face heat up and I quickly looked away. I couldn't help but imagine Zach and I being such an adorable couple like the two of them were, I envied them. I glanced around and my eyes fell on the boy. Infact he was doing the same thing as before.
He had his knees to his chest and a rather thick book in his hands. His headphones were also in but this time there was no tissue in his hands, I could also see he didn't bother eating during lunch. He must have loved to read, if only I could see what he was reading.
as if curiosity got the best of me I found my feet traveling in his direction, there was no turning back now. I felt timid as my feet stopped and I took a seat beside the boy, he was alone at his table, it was just him and his books. Perhaps that's how we prefers things but it didn't matter.
His hazel eyes looked away from his book and into mine, his blank expression turned sour instantly. "What do you want?"
it was clear he wanted nothing to do with me from the moment our eyes met, but what kind of soulmate would I be if I backed down instantly?
