I should of tried to be your man,
To love you and kiss when i can,

I should of put my hands on your hips,
And leaned in for a kiss,

I should of been there for you day and night,
To see you sleep would be a beatiful sight,

I should of hold you when you got cold,
Snuggle up to heat your soul,

I should of taken you on more date,
And meet your parents on the eight,

I should of kept you close and not push you away,
All i want is to go back to that day,

I should of taken you to play more pool,
But i did not want you to look like a fool,

I should of tried harder for you,
But i could not keep my cool
