All the bumps on the road made you ill as the padded seat made you sometimes jump, you hit your head a few times too. You heard the luggage shuffling on the roof of the carriage as you turned left and right, the only sight from the window was kilometers of fields and occasionally houses or villages with farm animals. The trip to the Joestar mansion was quite long, and it was always boring.

You were an only child, so you never really had anyone else other than Margaret. But she almost never came on trips with you. You wished you brought along a book, but all the books in your library were already read, multiple times. Your father was looking at some documents and you didn't want to bother him.

You decided the best thing would be to try to sleep. But somehow, you were scared of dreaming. The stranger that was so close to you, yet besides his blonde hair and amber eyes, you knew nothing of him. His face was hidden by a constant shadow, or more like fog. And every time his name would be mentioned, you could never hear it, even when it came from your mouth.

You yawned as your eyelids slowly closed.

The sun hit you brightly so you quickly pulled out your umbrella to cover your body. When you looked around, tall grass and trees were scattered everywhere. The river was calm, ripples creating as your boat rode through. Your gaze turned to the left. There he was again.

He was rowing the paddles of the boat, repeating the movement again and again. His gaze was serene, it looked as if he was absent-minded, a small smile on his face. The sun was hitting his face too and yet, his face was still unknown to you.

The boat approached the shore of a little field between the woods. He made sure it was safely docked before getting out. He offered his hand as support which you gladly took. He lightly kissed the back of your hand, making you blush.

He gently guided you through the trees, before seeing a picnic blanket with a basket and a bootle atop of it. Your mouth was agape from the sight. Such a romantic thing, it made butterflies flutter in your stomach.

"Ḑ̸̞̗̙͎͍̞̳͕̮̲̩̰͕͕̱̫̹̲͔͛͋͊̿̂̽̋͐͊̚͘͜͝͝ͅï̶̧̛͐͌̐o̸͒͊͋̓̂̇̀͘ you did this all for me?" you gasped, still not being able to believe it.

"Of course (Y/N), I've been planning this for a while," he confessed, helping you sitting down before sitting next to you.

He combed your hair with his fingers, a soothing action the both of you loved.

You relaxed there, enjoying the rays on your face, the sun warming your skin and soul.

"The sun is such a beautiful thing isn't it D̸̞̗̙͎͍̞̳͕̮̲̩̰͛͋͊̿̂̽̋͐͊̚͘͜͝͝ͅio̸͒͊͋̓̂͘?" you sighed.

He hummed in agreement, his beating heart lulling you to sleep.

The carriage jumped really high and your loose head flew straight into the wall next to you. Bang! You hit your head, hard. You jolted awake, a quiet scream and plenty of whimpers escaped your mouth at your forced awakening.

The sky outside was yellowish-blue, meaning soon the sun will set. You hated traveling in the dark, you never knew what lurked in the night. When you squinted your eyes, you noticed a big building in the nearing distance. Was that? It has to be! The Joestar mansion!

You completely forgot about your hurting head as excitement washed over you. All the memories from your early childhood flooded into your mind. You were getting more and more impatient, as the energy accumulated in you. Your father noticed this and closed the papers he was looking at.
