You were awoken by one of the maids. She gently shook your shoulder, muttering a "Good morning miss", before she opened the windows, letting the fresh air into the room. You slowly got out of your bed, your body strangely aching. She helped you to the toilette, sitting you down before grabbing your brush and gently brushing.

"This morning you got up quite late miss. Thankfully today is your day off from lessons. I've heard that the fairground has arrived! There will be some attractions so you will have tons of fun!" she beamed.

The fair? You haven't been there in ages! She braided your hair, brushing any little hairs back, making the whole hairstyle look neat.  You got up and hid behind the wooden room divider, which was beautifully decorated. It was full of miniportraits of angels and fairies in a colorful garden.

You removed your sleeping garments, throwing them over the wall, which was then collected by the maid before she went behind the divider to help you in to your dress.

You hurried to the dining room. It was empty, meaning that everyone has already eaten and were preparing themselves for the trip. You ran outside, holding your skirt in your hands, you arrived in front of the carriage.

"Just in time (Y/N)!" Jojo chirped.

You breathed in and out rapidly, trying to calm down your heart rate.

"We have our own carriage and money, our parents are giving us an almost completely independent day. They already went on ahead for their own business."

He offered you his hand which you gladly accepted, helping you into the carriage. You turned to your left and was greeted by Dio's scowl, who, at the sight of you, made his gaze softer.

"Good morning Dio," you said, sitting next to him.

"Good morning, have you slept well?" he asked apathetically.

"I don't feel rested at all, I had a strange that I can't remember," you whined, holding your head as a migraine started as soon as you tried remembering the dream.

Jonathan got in and closed the door, sitting on the opposite side. The horses started moving, making the carriage jump up and down. The rhythm made you sick for a while before you got used to it. Eventually, the hopping lulled you to sleep, making your head fall to the side.

What you didn't know was that your head fell onto Dio's shoulder. He stiffened before relaxing, making you lean more onto him. His heart for some reason started beating faster. His face felt a little hot. He grunted quietly to himself, trying to regain his composure.

The journey wouldn't be that long, he could last a few hours, by lunchtime, you're already going to be there. Dio was calm the whole way through, eventually accepting this warm feeling in his chest.

When you awoke, the first thing you heard was your stomach growling. You held your tummy, sighing.

"The first thing we'll do is to find a nice restaurant I promise." Jonathan laughed, carefully leaned out of the window, he informed the coachman about our final destination.

You looked around, more and more buildings were slowly appearing and the road wasn't as bumpy as before, the horse's hoofs clanking against the concrete blocks. The carriage came to a stop in front of a restaurant.

The boys got out first, this time Dio offered you his hand. It was different from Jojo's. You could still tell it was a boy's hand, but it was much softer, no calluses. It was also very warm, making you want to hold his hand for longer.

The restaurant was packed, the noise of clinking dishes, loud conversations, and soft classical music. It was definitely a higher class place where just not anybody could come to dine at. A waiter arrived to greet you.
