*Monday Morning*

Mikayla's P.O.V.

"So have you told your parents yet?" Laura asked me, as we worked on our poetry assignment in English. "Not yet. I was planning on doing it when I got home from school."

"I still don't understand why you didn't tell them yesterday." she said confused. "I told you Sunday, remember? I don't know how they will react to me winning the tickets, and I don't know if my Dad will like the idea that we are going without any adults." I explained.

"Well then, maybe I should come over tonight, and help you sell the idea to your parents." she said, feeling confident that this would work. "I don't know... Don't take this the wrong way, because my parents love you. Its just... you were at my house all weekend, and they might get suspicious." I said, worried my parents would tell me I can't go to the concert.

"Nonsense. You could just tell them that me and you are partners for a project in English, and we need to work on it tonight." Laura said with a big smile on her face. I thought about it and said, "That's not a bad idea actually." a smile playing on my lips. "But, you have to spend the night again. That way if they say no, I have someone to comfort me."

"Ok, but if they say no, I'm gonna be an emotional wreck." Laura said serious. "Well then, lets pray for a miracle that they say yes." I told her as the bell rang, signaling us to go to second period. "Ok, I'll see you at lunch." Laura said wayving goodbye.

*Later that Day*

"I'm so nervous for what my parents will say." I told Laura as I went to grab my Spanish stuff from our locker. "Don't worry, I think they will say yes." she told me. "And what makes you so sure?" I asked. "Don't worry, I have something up my sleeve." Laura said with a smirk on her face.

"You can be pretty creepy sometimes, ya know? But, if you say not to worry I'll trust you. I better go to Spanish before I'm late."

"Yeah, I better go too before I'm late to History. I'll see you after class." and with that she left.

*After Seventh Period*

"You ready to go girlie?" Laura asked as I grabbed what I needed to do my homework tonight. "Almost, let me just text my Mom real quick so she knows your coming over." I said as I sent the message to my Mom. Within seconds I got a reply.

"She said that its ok for you to come over. Let's go." I told her, extrememely nervous. "Did you tell her it was because of a project?" she asked. "Yes, we are sticking to the 'project' story." putting air quotes around project.

"Good, now off to my car!" she said as we made a mad dash for the parking lot.

I just hope that they say yes, after all this is my dream to meet them. And the boys mean so much to me and Laura.
